We recently purchased a vehicle from Lithia, our salesman was great to work with and very accommodating. Overall our experience was positive, however, the detail on the car was horrible. We purchased a used vehicle, there were still french fries under the seat, crumbs and other debris in the console of the front and back seats and overall dirtiness of the interior. In addition to the disappointing detail, our vehicle came with a nearly empty tank, we thought a full tank came with every purchase. Again our salesman was excellent and I would refer friends to him without hesitation, the detail and full tank were not his fault.

Took my 2011 Jeep in for cruise Control oil change and an oil leak, it cost $1296 I had to take it back because it still leaked oil and they didn't fix the freaking cruise control. Took my Jeep back in to this company again. They had my Jeep for 2 and a 1/2 weeks. They never called to say it was repaired. We had to call them and it was impossible to get through. This was a joke. Picked the Jeep up when they said it was fixed and the cruise control still did not work, monkeys could do better!! Do not use this company for repairs.. no managers on site on the weekends, no one can do anything. Inside sales people are nice, but not helpful when dealing with service issues.Will never use this service company again, suggest you not use it either . ....

Exceptional Service Team! I purchased my last two trucks from Lithia in Helena and gotten the lifetime oil change package for both. As a result of this, I visit the service team for oil changes 4-5 times a year and have them address other maintenance and service items as well. My Dodge Ram has been a great vehicle with minimal issues and the Lithia Helena team addressed any warranty work without a snag. When the warranty expired, the team identifies issues before they became critical so I can budget and plan appropriately. I have used other dealerships for some work and typically regret it. An example was while recently travelling quite a distance and I experienced issues so took my truck to a Lithia Dodge dealership expecting a similar experience but was in for a shock. Not only was everything VERY expensive compared to what I experienced at Lithia in Helena, the work was poorly done and ended up needing to be redone 4 months later by the Lithia team - at no additional cost under warranty from the original work! I typically work with Howard and he has gone above and beyond numerous times to ensure I am taken care of. Everyone else I have worked with have been great to work with and appreciate their collaborative manner of working with me as a customer. Exceptional team all around and I will not take my truck anywhere else!

Bought a Ram 2500 and in less 10000 miles so many issues that Lithia dodge would not raise a finger to take pride in the truck they sold me for around 30,000 dollars. I will never buy another truck from them nor send any family or friends to conduct their business there.

Ha they keep deleting my review!! Bunch of horrible humans work here. Slipped in an extended warranty DID NOT WANT $2,550.00! Another huge amount just marked other and I got scammed. 2016 Jeep not even 4 wheel drive. Roof is completely peeling off but the guy made me think I was getting a deal. Over $21,000.00 !!! First time buying my own car, single mom and had one of my kids with me. Will never go there again and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. I filed a complaint with corporate with the attorney general's office. They have a lot of open compyeitb the attorney general. Check out the website. They still haven't sent over the extended warranty money to my financer either.

So after the numerous other positive experiences I've had here at Lithia Dodge of Helena, including the recent one where I helped my dear friend buy a car, I went back because I needed to replace my truck. I went back and saw Jeff, of course, and took two trucks on extended test drives, and after coming back on two occasions and looking at all my choices, Jeff and Lithia earned my business again, and I traded in my 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie longhorn edition for a 2019 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, which will be much better for towing our travel trailer. As before, Jeff helped me through each and every step, and even helped me get the camper topper shell off at the dealership when I sold it the same time I picked up my truck. They fully serviced the truck, including alignment, and Jeff helped explain all the features of this truck that I'd never seen before. He even got tools from the shop and moved my trickle charger cord from my old truck to my new one, himself. It's a beautiful truck, black inside and out like I prefer, leather, and every option available, and they came down on its price and up on my trade in value. I really appreciate the personalized service and time they took to address all my particular needs and requests. Thanks again Jeff and Lithia!

This is a terrible dealership. My son-in-law ordered a car while deployed and it got delivered here. They had 9 days to get it ready for him to pick up after it was delivered from the factory and he had to wait all day for them to clean it, charge the battery, get the paperwork ready.... One excuse after another and 6 hours later he was finally able to drive it the 3 hours home. On another occasion, my husband went into the service department to buy a water pump that was marked up 5x what the cost is to order it directly from Dodge. When he showed them this, they just told him to buy it there then. He did - but my easy going husband stormed out and vowed never to return. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and honestly just lazy. I recommend any other Dodge dealership in Montana over this one.

Expecting our fourth child and needing space for three car seats, we bought an $11,000 vehicle from Lithia. Two months later, it doesn't run at all, we're still paying almost $400 a month, and we now don't have a vehicle that fits our family. $5,300 is the lowest quote we've been given to fix it.

The purchasing experience was rather smooth and Kaycee did an excellent job showing us our options and working within our parameters. Mr. Mihm was clear and succinct with his explanation of the financing portion. The follow on experience and the multitude of instances I had to interact with the Service Manager, Howard Reed, however was quite the opposite experience. Three days after purchase my TPMS light was illuminated on my dash, suspecting I had already picked up a nail, I took it into the Costco Tire Center. During the inspection, a rope plug was located. I have been Michelin and Bridgestone certified to Tire Industry Association standards and adhere to Rubber Manufacturer Associations guidelines in regards to tire repairs. I will not waste the time explaining all of that at this time, but over the span of two weeks Howard proceeded to argue and question my integrity regarding tire repairs and the necessity for replacement and not a plug and patch. He stated he reached out to multiple shops that would simply plug and be on its way. I provided a multitude of literature to attempt to educate Howard as he informed me he has very little specialty knowledge regarding tires. During my second trip within 24 hours to discuss with Howard, he stated that replacing two tires makes sense. Repeatedly stating, "the writing is on the wall". After two weeks of back and forth a solution was finally agreed upon that entailed exchanging tires/wheels with another jeep. It was a less than honorable experience to have to interact with Howard. His consistent attempt to degrade my integrity even though he went back on his word on ordering two tires on April 15. I had not heard anything for almost a week. When I stopped by Lithia on the 20th, Howard went back on his word and said a simple repair would do. This only continued to exacerbate the issue. It did not seem to matter the amount of evidence I provided Howard, his lack of humility and immaturity imposed on his ability to respectfully take care of a customer. When he finally contacted me regarding what I had provided he said that it was still debatable. I am unsure what definition of respect and customer service he follows, but I find it quite inferior and subpar to even the most basic requirements. Continuing forward with transgressions conducted by a business that continues to fail customers. The temporary registration expired on the aforementioned vehicle. Upon contacting the County Treasurer, I was informed that paperwork had not been submitted by the dealership. After leaving two voicemails with the person responsible for paperwork, interacting with the chat option on their website and having a Salesman reach out to the paperwork department over the span of 5 business days, I have had no return correspondence. It appears that multiple individuals employed by CJD Lithia of Helena embody similar regressed levels of respect and struggle at conducting themselves in a reputable manner.

I purchased a RAM 2500 POWER WAGON in October 2022. Chris Lewis made this the easiest vehicle purchase i have ever had. I live in California mind you. Chris communicated with me every step of the way, even after the the delivery of the truck he calls and emails making sure I am happy with my purchase. Chris truly cares about his customers. Chris Lewis and Lithia Dodge of Helena, Montana you guys are awesome !!!!

Called the Chevy Dealership in Butte someone picked up on the second ring. And got me an appointment right away. If we could! It would be a negative 100!! TURN AROUND! We were fed nothing but lies! So Many to tell! From the beginning the sales-boy mike, New we were coming from Deer Lodge! Took our info told us we were good on a $50000 ram Rebel to come up! Then the next day, it changed. I got a call saying I didn't qualify for the Rebel, but a 20k Ram eco diesel. So I asked if there was something cheaper there "since he qualified for 20k", mike said yes there's a 2013 Durango (long story short that's the vehicle that we end up going for). My wife and I explained to Mike to please not waste our time and gas if this isn't a for sure done deal. We're told it's in the bag, blah blah blah (salesman talk) we understood that salesman blow a lot of hot air and are professional liars. So with our that in mind we thought couldn't hurt right? Well unfortunately they did blow nothing but air. The whole way up there Mike was constantly calling hyping up the Durango (which salesmen do) we get there everything g is all berries and cream and acting like they're you best friends blah blah blah, after being there almost all day, we end up being told that my wife was the only one on the loan, while sitting in finance office! Then we were told the Vehicle needed a part! They were Advised that my wife license was Expired but told us they had a buddy that could get insurance for her!!!! I called the company they gave us to call, and the agent laughed and said they don't know what they are talking about..... that it is a Montana state law, that nobody can get insurance without a valid license! Not to mention they knew that I was a retired police officer! we eventually decided due to all the lies and mishaps! We wanted sour $4000 CASH that we put down! We drove the whole way back up there to be told that we are getting a check back and we could go cash it! Bank was already closed! When finance boy Schaefer brought us the check, he told us we could not cash until Monday because the funds were not availed! To us that was stealing our hard earned money!!!!! We then become loud with our voices. So they would understand what we were trying to get across. At which time approximately six other male salesmen began to circle me intimidating and blowing kisses, asking me to fight outside, calling me a Bitch boy, They then tried approaching us telling us to leave at which time we told them, we refuse to, and they better not put their hands on us as they were attempting to do. My wife called the police due to fear of things escalating by them. police whelpful and told us to pursue it with the Better Business Bureau and other ways civilly. The officer also informed us that the check doesn't clear within three days it becomes criminal and charges could be filed. While waiting for the police, the sales boys the Durango that we were going to purchase and drove up and down the street to rub it in our faces while we were talking to the police. U.S. Consumers With all these negative Experiences need to go to the better business bureau, and report this.
