Hours: The Little Red Schoolhouse is a period one room schoolhouse built in 1888 and nestled in the heart of the beautiful Prickly Pear Valley in Helena, MT. Around 1980 a group of ambitious descendants of the early students undertook purchasing the property and bringing it back from disrepair. Today, the school is utilized for educational purposes by looking back at how the one room schoolhouse contributed to the growth of students and the community. Then finally, the shelter and grounds provide a venue folks can rent for a variety of events!
