Robert Allen Nissan is out of business after Nissan Finance got a court order to re-claim the vehicles they financed. The car lot is bare as of August, 2019.

The sales department was great, if a little bit pushy. They helped me pick out the perfect used car for me within my price range, and I absolutely love it. However, the finance department was a disaster. I told them my budget for a monthly payment was $250, and the salesman got me to a $232, which was perfect for me. When I got into the office of Jen Dewolf, the finance director, she had alright customer service, but was very pushy. She convinced me to add on an extra service plan, for $60/month, stating (in front of the two family members I brought with me) that I could take it off at any time if the payment turned out to be too unreasonably high. Since I'm a gull-time worker and student, I was hesitant to add extra money onto my monthly bills. However, thinking that was a pretty fair deal, I signed the contract and went home. A couple months later, I decided that the $290 was too much for me to pay, and called to cancel the extra service plan. She informed me that I could take it off, but it would not lower my monthly payment like we agreed: it would only take money off the overall amount I owed on the car, but I would still have to pay the $290/month. When I questioned her about why she'd told me what she did when I was buying the car, she said that she may have "misspoke". There was no "misspeaking" in this conversation. Jen outright lied to me and my family, who both understood the conversation the same way I did, and she refused to fix it. I will never shop at Robert Allen Nissan again.

Every shady stereotype about car salesman was live and true with my experiences with Robert Allen Nissan. Most seriously, I was sold a car before I asked to buy one. High pressure sales doesn't even come close to describing it. Then a warranty was added to my purchase without any mention to me, when I called to express my displeasure and started reviewing the contract with the gentleman on the phone, I discovered that they has actually CHANGED the DETAILS of my SIGNED CONTRACT WITHOUT TELLING ME after I had left the building. The price numbers he was reading me were different than the numbers on my signed contract! To top things off the car has had nothing but problems - and the warranty I bought just signed me up for fighting with them to get ANYTHING covered. The only reason the vehicle even got fixed was because I did the troubleshooting and told them what the problem was. To top it off, when I got it back from being worked on, by their service department, there are little bits of damage and filth that weren't there when I left it. (upholstery filthy, plastic cracked, fender not flush with body) This was absolutely the most miserable retail AND service experience of my life. Go anywhere else.

Here's my process: Call 10+ dealers, get numbers on the vehicle they had I wanted, and my trade in, compare those numbers, then reach out to the dealer that was my favorite vehicle, tell them what they have to match to earn your business. If they don't don't sweat it. Next reach out to the dealer you like the most and tell them the numbers they have to match to earn your business. Lastly, take into consideration, you're giving $1,000's of dollars to a company, a corporation, a dealership, and 2-5 employees at that dealership. I'd prefer to give my hard earned money to the location I like the people at the most. I didn't luck out here! I set myself up to get a great deal on my number 1 vehicle of choice from the dealership I preferred to buy from. I gave them my word on what it would take to earn my business, and they did exactly that! The salesman, Chris Partin, knew his stuff about the product he sold me, he was willing to meet me when best for my schedule, and was willing to text me, instead of call or email me. He didn't have to pressure me because I was upfront with him with what he needed to do to earn my business. It was my responsibility to earn my very best deal, I did that, Chris Partin at Robert Allen Nissan took it one step further than any other salesman I've met and asked the questions to find out what I needed to make this the easiest purchase I've ever had. Chris Partin is a guy who is willing to do what it takes to make you happy.

Wife and I just bought a very nice used car. It was very low pressure and really not your typical buying experience. We didn't get the back and forth that normally happens at a dealership. We got a very good price on a very good car. There are only two dealerships in Helena that I'd recommend to family and friends based on our experiences. Robert Allen is one of them.

Best customer service I have EVER gotten from a dealership. They helped me get a part in a hurry, bent over backwards to keep me up to speed on the status of the part AND were able to get it to me for less than they initially quoted. I drove 90 miles one way and when I got there the service got even BETTER. Every single person I met there was genuinely making an effort to make my experience there awesome. And it wasn't just me! After Dean and Dallas in parts helped to make sure I had the part and instructions to easily install it when I got home, I headed to the cashier. I watched as the cashier shook hands with the guy ahead of me and thanked him for his business. After I paid, he helped me to my car and even opened my door for me. These guys ROCK! I will definitely make the drive for any service I may need and when I am ready for my next car- I will head straight there.

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. They gave us false information on a car we bought and refused to cancel the loan after they took FULL responsibility it was their fault. The Manger (Kenny) shouldn't be managing anything. He was rude, didn't care about us after he was paid for lying about the vehicle. They disabled the rating on thier facebook page because the reviews were so bad. Save yourself the trouble!

Wonderful dealership! Sales staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Service department goes out of there way to get you back on the road. Detail department has also been wonderful made an old truck look new again even getting the dog hair off of the seats and carpet something I was unable to do. With all this said I purchased a new 2016 Murano!! I feel confident that Robert Allen Nissan will take great care of me and my new Murano in the future.

We have bought three cars from this dealership and we have had nothing but good experiences with the sales staff. The service staff are pretty good overall. We've had a couple of problems with maintenance taking longer than expected when replacing recall parts, but for routine maintenance they are pretty good. The staff has always been courteous and professional. The shuttle for maintenance is extremely efficient for pick ups and drop offs. Overall Robert Allen Nissan is a good dealership with good staff.

We will never ever be back. They tried very hard not to tell us the price of the car we were looking at. The big mistake we went in ( don't go in). So they have chocolate chip cookies and the cleanest garage and windows to see them working on your car. I thought he was selling the lobby. Not buying a lobby. Never Heard the price are if they liked our offer on the car. Oh well lesson learned.

We will never be back. We feel like we were lied to and then when we came back to get our car worked on they made us feel like we were being a hassle to them, even though we paid for the services. We talked to the GM and he was worse than the sales rep. This dealership is the reason car salesmen have such a bad stereotype! They proved every single bad stereotype out there.
