I recently visited this Verizon store to add a line to my existing family account. While the initial conversation was friendly, I encountered several issues during my visit. The store manager was unable to provide specific details about the differences in my payment plan if I added a new line versus starting a new plan. Additionally, I was not informed upfront about the cost or potential charges for adding a new line in-store versus online.
The biggest issue arose when adding a new SIM card. The staff assumed that my iPhone 14 Pro Max has only an eSIM slot and did not consider the option for a physical SIM card, even though I already had one inside. Without consulting me, they added my new number as an eSIM. When I requested a physical SIM card instead, they were unable to figure out how to switch it, even though it is a simple process of removing the added eSIM and inserting a physical SIM card.
After this frustrating experience, I was surprised to learn that apart from activation fee of $35 I need to pay $39.99 as “in store service” fee which was ridiculous because they messed up how my new SIM was supposed to work. When I inquired about this, I was informed that I would have to pay the fee, despite it not being mentioned earlier in the process.
Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of transparency regarding charges and the confusion regarding SIM cards. Improving communication and ensuring that customers are informed of all potential charges upfront would greatly enhance the customer experience at your store.

Very helpful, just came into to remove a phone from them and am now using t-mobile but Verizon itself I would never use again. Way too expensive and usually has very horrible customer service

Broke my phone last weekend. Amber was super helpful with getting me a replacement, getting it set up, and getting a new screen protector on, all on different days because i had to wait for things to come in the mail. Each time I was in, Amber was handling multiple customers and juggling a 3-person workload alone.Amber definitely deserves a raise!
