Hot tub was out of order. We were not told that when we checked in swimming pool was ice cold. We were not told that until the kids jumped in and it was freezing cold. They couldn't even enjoy themselves. We weren't told that when we checked it breakfast bar. Everything was ice, cold and unavailable. Even the oatmeal wouldn't melt the butter. There was no milk for the kids. It was frozen so they couldn't even have cereal. This is the most horrible experience I've ever had. They never informed us at the front desk. What should be done at every hotel that there was absolutely no hot tub and there was no thermostat in the swimming pool that was ice cold. There should have been notes on the front door there were not they should have told. With that check in before we checked in so we could have had the opportunity to go somewhere else. We were not told that the front desk out was rude. She even heard my kids talking about being excited about hot tubbing and swimming. Yet not one word came out of her mouth that those were not working. Why were we not told? Why were we allowed to check in and waste our money? When we could have had the option of going somewhere else, the most horrible experience we've ever had at a hotel.

Subpar at best. Evidently Wyngate has gone downhill. Their name apparently means nothing.We check into our room door doesn't lock and the deadbolt doesn't work.We go to have a swim in the indoor swimming pool. It's not heated, and neither is the pool room. Icicles on the emergency exit and it's frozen shut.We switch rooms. Bedtime it's freezing , our room did not go above 61, we set it at 75. Blowing cold air on my face all night. Go to take a shower in the morning, no hot water. Go to have complementary breakfast, it's not available, but there was milk cartons in the fridge. Take one up to room, it's frozen,curdled and expired in 2021,4 years ago.Their only redeeming quality was the 1 friendly desk clerk at check in on Saturday.So from check in to check out the entire experience was miserable. To top it off, we were there specifically to get away and utilize the indoor pool in the subzero Temps, and we couldn't even do that.

Room was super hot, had to turn the heater off and open the window to be able to sleep. Shower didn't stay on reminded me of being at camp with a time on the water. Never saw housekeeping had to empty own garbage. Pool water was cold and hot tub was non functional, major disappointment.Rooms: Too hot couldn't control room temp with thermostat.

We were in room 235 at the wingate by Wyndom for 5 days and it was awful. Our room was dirty, No place to hang towels. The room keys only worked for 6 hours then you had to go recharge your you card. Breakfasts were lacking supplies lack of food. We asked for our room to be cleaned today and got back at 9 pm and the wet towels were still on the floor, Beds not maid and nothing had been done. The service was deplorable and we will never stay in this or any other motel with their name. I don’t want an i am sorry because you can’t undo poor service. Laundry rooms were dirty and not functional. It the first place we have ever stayed. buyer beware

The shower was HUGE. Breakfast was good, lots of selections. Daughter enjoyed the pool. The room was too hot so we opened the window, which helped alot. Bed was comfy.Nearby activities: Shellies Cafe next door is a perfect place for a great meal.

Once checked in I went to my room, there was mold on the toilet and candy wrappers on the floor. The carpet had not been vacuumed. Asked to move rooms and was offered to clean the toilet. . . Great????That evening after traveling and getting ready for a convention I was looking forward to a hot shower to relax before bed. The shower ran lukewarm the ENTIRE WEEKEND. Decided Sunday morning to get up early to go to the hot tub since I had no hot water and even the hot tub is not hot let alone warm.Constant fighting all through the night Saturday in the hallways and out front. The doors do not work, apparently they are out on upside down?This place needs a lot of work, a fresh coat of paint doesn't fix a thing. I will never recommend this place, I am disgusted at what I had to deal with and have definitely spread the negative word to not stay their.

Was in the hot tub when a kid was laughing about taking a dump in the pool. I reported it to the front desk and her name was Chealsey. And she said she would get her maintenance guy to handle it. I came back down and it was still there. She and him were sitting by the fire just laughing about the situation when addressed about the second time. Sure is funny when a bio hazard is in the pool. And I noticed that after that as we stayed there a week, that a lot of people have stayed out of the pool as this should have been handled right away, also the breakfast sub par and the eggs taste gross. As a paying guest I would expect better, I work for Osha and they will be hearing from me.

My wife and I had reserved a room with a king bed on 9/22/23. Once we arrived at the hotel that evening the lady at the front desk told me that they didn't have any rooms with a king bed available. We ended up staying at the Delta hotel. Wyngate has absolutely refused to return the money that was prepaid for the room. Saying "No Refunds upon Cancellation". I asked how could that be considered cancellation when I did in fact arrive. No response. I am having to get the BBB involved.

We looked online to find a hotel and this one had the best price for “cleanest” hotel. However when we called they jumped the price $70 from what was advertised online. Once we had negotiated the appropriate price we went to our rooms. Most of the tvs didn’t work, the showers didn’t stay on and were a pain and the one bathroom wasn’t cleaned. When it came to breakfast, which we were told was 6-9, there was minimal items available. The kitchen took use of the microwave for the first half hour to cook their eggs. While the facility is new and the desk lady was very apologetic and got a new room for our friends it has kinks they need to figure out.

I have no idea what my room looked like as my key never worked 3 times. Front desk "fixed it" but on third try it still did not work. In meantime, guests were coming back to the lobby desk to inform them that their room was not ever made up. I started to get a bad vibe. Front desk said they could unlock the room for me, but what good would it do if I had to rely on them to get in room for two days? After all that I gave them their key cards and said cancel this reservation, I am out of here, and found a Best Western across town that is impeccable. I realize stuff happens, but this was ridiculous.Walkability: Hotel is off a main road in town with not much near by for food etc.

It was undisclosed that this place was under remodel. Check in procedure took over half an hour. The room was not ready. There were still workers working in it and no maid service when they left. Shower faucet was hardly operable. No caffeinated coffee upon request. The free breakfast cost way more than it was worth. I would not recommend this place at this time.

This was one of the worst experiences, we used to love coming here because of beautiful jacuzzi suites. I was told when I reserved the room that it was a jacuzzi suite so I was charged appropriately..upon arrival found out they don't have the jacuzzi suites anymore. Our room was a mess, half furnished, lamps with no bulbs and coffee set up in a closet..no sink. The ice maker on our floor was not working and the little store was closed. I went to the desk to ask why I was charged for the upgraded room and was told they don't know why I was told to expect it and was given a $20 refund..will never stay here again!!

I can't even give it one. This was our favorite place to go when in Helena. Reservation for a jacuzzi suite was made and paid for, was assured at check in, we had a room with a jacuzzi only to get to the room and guess what, not only did it not have a jacuzzi we called the desk and was informed with a giggle "oh I forgot we don't have them anymore!!. No "kitchen area" table was on the other side of the room with no chairs. No bulbs in the lamps, no ice machine on the floor and no snack machine in the whole establishment. Went for "breakfast " only to see the maintenance man, removing bread from a bag with his bare hands and placing it for us to eat. Seriously I could go on. But it's unnecessary. Will never go back!!

I was a little skeptic after reading the recent reviews, but my stay ended up being amazing. The staff told me they just got their ACs back up and it felt amazing. Rooms were spotless and breakfast was just enough. I believe this place is going to be back and better after the renovation, definitely will be staying here again.
