Love this place !!!! Stayed there twice in two weeks for hunting. Rick is an excellent host. The Bunkhouse is spotless and very comfortable/cozy. It's also really nice to have the hot springs, bar/restaurant across the street.

A place where hippies and cowboys converge. Rick was super friendly and accommodating to my friend and I as we took a much needed rest from the TransAmerican Bike Trail when temperatures became freezing overnight. Warm showers and washing machines were much appreciated. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re passing through!

Loved this quaint, small town, authentic western, hotel. Super fun hosts, very helpful with directions, history and fun sights to see. Must know: no bathrooms in rooms and paper this 100 year old walls. But we still loved it! Will share and be back! Thanks ?Rooms: No TV, small, no bathroom, quaint, good bed.Nearby activities: Nice location to hit many historical locations and two different hot springs, a ghost town, dig crystals, etcWalkability: Can walk to the hot springs from hotel.Food & drinks: They have a liquor license and stocked a few juices and waters.

We ate lunch next door and bought wine here. We enjoyed our lunch while the owner gave us a great show with his tree stand. ?

The Bunkhouse was a great place to stay while hiking the CDT. Contact Rick in advance to be picked up from the trailhead a couple of miles from the CDT. The post office is inside the hotel. Beer and wine are available, too!

To all that ask: YES!!! This IS where they film the Yellowstone TV series! (and no, that was not the "Milk River" in the Season 5 opener, but the Big Hole River, here in town! :o)

I stayed in the cycle camp for $20/night.The bunkhouse is very nice. Attractive, cosy, clean, etc. The cycle camp bizarrely is the opposite. THERE IS NO SHADE, morning or evening. One picnic table, partially broken, broken sink, spigot drains into the foundation of the building and feels weird to use.You can use the showers and there are towels and soap. There is laundry you can pay for which is a perk.$10 would be a more appropriate price. My recommendation would be to pour a concrete pad big enough for a high quality communal picnic table with a small roof for shade and power outlets and upgrade the spigot. That's all it needs to not feel like you're being disrespected.(An alternative camping spot is the donation only cycle camp in Wisdom, 18 miles away.)

Perfect stop on the Trans-America Trail. Starts as a simple place to stay (in an area with few other options) and turns into a rousing party come sun-down.

the top floor of the bunkhouse is a wonderful place to stay with a bunch of friends. GREAT FOR A COLLEGE KID BUDGET! Split six ways it was only $33 a person and right across the street from the hot springs. Rick is a wonderful host. We will definitely come back sometime!

What a gem! What a find! What started as a drive-by for the hot springs ended up as a two night epic time. Rick was super helpful and accommodating. He has thought of everything that one would need and very affordable. I hiked the PCT in 2019 and stayed at a lot of hostels and camped outside on trail angels properties and this was a perfect combination—-Rick has the showers (with soap and shampoo and towels) post office, and laundry. Rick also gave us a lot of helpful advice on fishing, the hot spring lodge, and other nearby hot spots. This is an easy 5/5! Thank you again rick! —-the Californians!
