“Sassafras is an art coop representing over 50 artists in downtown Kalispell. There is a lovely and eclectic mix of styles, craft and vision. I stepped in expecting one kind of store and my mind was blown at the variety, artistry and craftsmanship of these local artists. I could have spent over an hour here examining the different items. We purchased a beautiful thrown pottery mug, some magnets, some artisan cards, huckleberry preserves.”

“You could spend days here! It was really fun seeing items through my 8 year old granddaughter's eyes - she would be great at repurposing! If she didn't know what something was she figured it out some way that it could be used. She was very enthusiastic! There were several items I would have loved to purchase that would be too expensive to ship home!”
