I buy a lot of stainless fasteners. Fastenal has a pretty good selection, and if I need something they don't stock, they can usually get it within a few days. The pricing is great. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Give 'em a try, you won't be disappointed...

First, the people at fastenal are nice people generally speaking. But its a pain dealing with their quality of work. They can put buts in the proper bins when they are clearly labeled, now i have to deal with an issue of someone not doing their job for whatever reason i dont know. Cant get the right items i ask for, and they are terrible at communicating with my company.

I have been a customer at both stores. I am also a business owner and I understand transitions go roughly at best usually. Everyone there I have dealt with seems to be trying to do a good job and help me. When I have had an issue with price they have addressed it. That is WAY better than I can say about some other stores. Just like anyone, I find if you treat them with respect they will treat you with respect. Thanks and keep up the good work!

I just had the most absurd experience of my life. These folks are clearancing off all the old Fasteners Inc. merchandise. It's all in a back room of the warehouse- 60% off. Wow that's pretty good- tools, blades, nails, screws.... I shoulda just backed the truck around. Before checking out I asked how much for the WHOLE lot of Armstrong tools. Buckets and buckets of them- most of them not priced. So I spend an hour waiting while they try to figure out the prices. Once I finally get the prices they're HIGHER than the marked prices on some of them. Holy heck #×$@!&$ are you serious. Okay well I guess 60% off meant off the highest retail they could find. Okay nevermind I tell em- I'll just take this cart full of stuff. They start ringing it up and they're doing the same thing item by item looking up the mfg retail price and dropping 60% off that. So for instance an Irwin 12 fiber cement blade (Item # 230056) marked 92.77 their 60% off price= 82.60 LoL Fasteners this is strike 3! when you guys changed your name from Fasteners Inc to Fastenal the entire culture of your business took a huge dive. Don't get me wrong 82.60 is still better than 90 at Lowe's but it's not.... I had probably $1000 in nails, screws, rotohammer bits, blades, etc. I'm not going to buy a bunch of stuff that, I'll use, but don't really need for 60% off when it's really like- 5- 10% at best.
