Car worked fine but staff was not so great. Not helpful and very politically vocal/confrontational without provocation. I would not come here again just because of that. Billing was difficult to resolve mistakes, very challenging to get a receipt. The whole ordeal was disorganized, staff didn't seem to know what they were doing.

I rented a car from Hertz for a short weekend trip to Glacier National Park. Unfortunately, someone door-dinged the rental car during my trip. I reported it to Hertz when I returned the vehicle, thinking I was doing the right thing. However, Hertz continued renting out the same car for the next 9 months until someone hit a deer with it.
My insurance company had already paid more than enough to cover the door ding, including replacing seat belts and other repairs. Despite this, Hertz's third-party claims handler is still coming after me for an additional $2,000 for "loss of rental income" for the time the car was in the shop. The kicker? The only reason the car needed major repairs was because it hit a deer—9 months after my rental.
This is an outrageous way to treat customers, especially when Hertz has already been compensated. I would caution anyone considering renting from Hertz to be aware of these questionable practices.

Probably the best Hertz location I have ever been to. They went out of the way to help me and did it with a wonderful smile on their face the entire time. They definitely let the small town charm shine and welcome visitors with open arms and clean cars.

We were charged an extra day on our rental despite returning on time. We have been calling both this location and Hertz corporate for several weeks with no response. Recommend avoiding this location.

Rented a 2023 jeep Grand Cherokee for our week hiking at glacier. We had 4 codes pop up on our dash 3 days into our trip and ineffective brakes while driving down the side of a mountain. Terrible service and disrespectful desk woman, younger dark haired girl. Tried to charge us for the refill of half tank of gas at $9 a gallon that was used by driving 3 hours and 145 miles to drop off the damaged already vehicle. Not very happy with this company. Probably won’t use again.

BE CAREFUL OF HIDDEN FEES!! The service was awesome and convenient. But a reservation that cost me $219 jump to $386 it is mind blowing. I am very frustrated with the transparency of Hertz. I use them for work and always renting from Airports and this is the first time I got hit by several additional costs (granted: I ran 200miles over the threshold - which was never cleared during the booking -, and also handed the car with 7/8 tank full. I would recommend people to use Turo if you are looking for a more transparent upfront payment business.

Beware! This is a privately owned branch and they will slip in charges after returning the vehicle and Hertz corporate will not help you! They sent me pictures of leaves and a couple candy wrappers and charged us a $200 cleaning fee! Outrageous and there is nothing you can do about it DO NOT RENT HERE GO TO ANY OTHER CAR RENTAL COMPANY IN KALISPELL!

Car was clean, full of gas, and performed as it should. The checkout process went very well. The nice young lady that helped us at the counter was pleasant. However, later in the evening I went to my credit card statement to my charges as I frequently do while on a business trip or vacation. I find a "pending" charge for $700 more than the charges for the rental car. I am aware, that companies charge deposits, but $700? Furthermore, I find out after not being able to speak with a live person at the 800# that they can't even research the charges due to the fact that this is a franchised dealer that owns this Hertz in the airport. I would need to contact the airport location directly to find out why. I finally was able to reach after 3 failed attempts. When I do, I the agent in the airport in Kalispell appeared to be busy and the location was understaffed. She seemed helpful at first, but unfortunately wasn't the greatest listener. Her name was Carrie (not sure if name spelled correctly) She asks me questions, but doesn't spend the time to wait for my answer and abruptly places me on hold. She advises me after a lengthy conversation with a snarky tone "I learned something from this conversation" I advised her that her tone was not as civil as it should be and she promptly "hung up" on me. I still don't know why I had a $700 deposit tying up available funds while out of state. I will be sure to use Hertz only after finding out if:1. Is this franchised, because if so, seems like no accountability.2. What will the deposit be? Because no one said anything and there is nothing written on the invoice.

Megan was PERFECT, PATIENT, HELPFUL. Resolved a problem quickly!...I have rented with Hertz, rose to their "Presidents Circle" status a few years ago.... literally 1000s of days...sometimes full years at a time.Megan was amazing!Thanks Hertz!

ADDRESS IS WRONG ON GOOGLE MAPS! The address on Google and the Hertz website currently routes to a random house 10 minutes north east of FCA Airport; this is INCORRECT. The Hertz rental car facility is actually located at the FCA Airport. Just enter airport and follow signs for rental cars. Please help by submitting a map update request to Google until this is fixed. Good luck.

I needed a one way rental to Spokane and booked with Hertz. Original car had an issue and the staff, with the manager Bettylynn leading the way, helped so much. They dropped me off at the car and made the swap so easy. Fantastic crew!
