Rude women working... she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her and her fellow employee (older man didn't expect him to lift too much) to ask for the electric heater that was clearly 3 feet above my head then continued to throw the heater in my cart and say it'll be fine it's just an electric heater. The self checkout employee is always an amazing sweet man in a wheelchair but this place gets one star for this women being rude late night when the store was dead.

Customer service at the Kalispell store is defiantly in need of improvement. I live several hours away in Washington state and my father-in-law, who is 79 years old and lives in Kalispell, needed a new washer/dryer installed. I called and ordered the unit from Lowes in Kalispell, along with all the items needed for the install (plug in, hoses, dryer vent tube and clamps). The unit was scheduled for delivery and install the next day. When the delivery crew arrived, they did not have with them the plug in, so my father-in-law had to go to local hardware store (Ace) and purchase one. Then, the install crew could not hook up the water lines correctly. They didn't put the gaskets inside the female ends of the hoses, so the hoses kept leaking. After several attempts, and being told by my father in law they needed to install the gaskets, they ignored that advice and cross threaded the hoses onto the washer. The hoses still leaked and they finally gave up saying, "you will just have to deal with this on your own." They left, taking the four hose gaskets that came with the hose set with them, with the unit not working and leaking. My father in law took the old gaskets out of the hoses he already had, installed them in the new hoses, fixed the threads on the washing machine from when the install crew cross threaded it and low and behold, the hoses no longer leaked. You would think the story would end here, but you are wrong. On the washer lid there is a large red sticker indicating the "internal shipping support" had to be removed before use. So now, he had to take the side panel of the unit off, take out the shipping support, put it back together, and put the unit back into place. When I called Lowes customer service I was told the reason the plug I had purchased was not sent with the delivery crew, was because it was marked as "in store pick-up" in error. When I explained about the delivery crew not installing the unit correctly, I was told Lowes uses a third party to install appliances, so I would need to call them. The whole reason I called Lowes in the first place was to get this done with no hassle a not have my 79 year old father in law moving things around. Epic failure on Lowes part. The third party they use is a Lowes problem, not mine. Trying to call Lowes in Kalispell and speak to the manager is next to impossible. I spent 45 minutes on hold when I was transferred back to someone in cabinets who did not know how to transfer me back to customer service. I finally ended up calling the Lowes Corporate office 1-800-44LOWES where my call was answered. Hopefully Lowes Corporate will be able to deal with the Kalispell store.

On a camping trip and needed a part that wasn't in stock for our solar panel, got it ordered online and shipped to the kalispell location. First off the shipping took 3 days longer than expected and then the part itself took 2 days to get checked in. Been waiting all day for the receivers to check it in but can't get it until they actually do. I can see the part was delivered to the warehouse first thing in the morning and it's 5 PM and still not physically received. Customer service is also crap here. Never buying from Lowe's again. Home Depot for the win. Editing: Debbie is the best. After waiting at Lowe's for 3 days (live on the road so had to find somewhere to camp) she made receiving check it in so I can get back on my travels. PROMOTE DEBBIE

Waited 2 days for a trailer they said they can have ready in 3 hours. Only to have to cancel cause they can't find the trailer cause they are short staffed. Will never spend money at this lousy store.

Worst delivery service ever! After missing work 4 times to be there for delivery, we finally canceled product. Never will shop here! And will make sure all know!!

Today was the first time I can recall that we got 5 star service right away at Lowes. We were in the flooring and Michael the sales manager helped us. He was friendly professional and knew his stuff. With the shortage of help it's always nice to have great service and Michael along with Orlando are doing it right!

Order vinyl flooring, installation was almost $2500.00, so ordered different flooring that the installation was not so high. They sent us the wrong baseboards, had them returned, they credited us for somebody else product, but (there is always a but) then they called to tell us that we owed $600.00 more for the flooring all they charged us for was the baseboard and installation. I cancelled the whole order. Was told it would take 60 days to refund on our Lowe's card. Told them I do not want it on the card I wanted my 2007.00 back. Said they have to put it on our card then we could file a claim to get a check that would take another 30 days. Now I can't get flooring cause they are holding up my money for 3 to 4 months. BS if I took that long to pay them, they would turn me in for collections. This is BS, I want my money back now

We needed cabinets for a small kitchen, no one answered the phone or would help us. Then we were told to make an appointment, when we arrived the lady said she would only help us if we were ordering custom! We wanted to buy in stock! We tried for a third time and Channel was great. She had energy and could use the computer, she loaded what we needed on the cart and had a great attitude. Hope they hang on to her! She is five star but getting to her took a star.

There new return policy is bad. I had 3 items to return, I had a receipt, they were new and unopened, they were still current inventoried items, but because they were 2 weeks outside their 90 day return policy, they would not accept the return, not even for a store credit. Lowes has lost my business and I'm going back to HD even though their prices may be ever so slightly higher.

Great store, always friendly personnel , I admit lately the help is hard to find and I'm sure, as all businesses go, no one wants to work anymore - hard to find help. But they are doing their best and glad they are here, I go between the two HD and Lowe's as both are great stores.

Bought washer and dryer. Have delivered 2 washers so far -- both heavily damaged. I made a point of telling the sales man that I wanted Lowe's to do install and to bring any accessories required. Did not happen with the first washer and I brought it to the drivers attention. Did not happen with the second washer either. I had to go to the store myself to purchase the required parts. So now I have all the parts but still no washer or dryer. I am done with L with Lowe's

Customer service is absolute garbage at this store. No one in this place cares that you come in with the intent on spending your hard earned money with them. I went in on a quiet Tuesday morning at 830am to buy a new mower attachment and couldn't find a single person willing to help me, this includes the two trips I made up to the customer service desk to get some help. Wasted almost 30 minutes before I took my money and went elsewhere. What a joke.

Lowe's is not capable of providing the curbside pick up service they are advertising. They are extremely understaffed but for some reason still advertising curb side pick up. I ordered an item that was in stock at the location near me. I ordered online and it took three days for the item to be "ready" for pick up. Upon arrival at the store I called the pick up phone number per the instructions on the signage. I spent ten minutes trying to connect to someone and kept getting my call redirected to the front desk. I had to go into the store to get help (which is NOT why I ordered online), and upon entry it was impossible to distance appropriately from other customers. When the cashier helped me, she just pushed the oversized box toward me without offering any help out or a cart or anything even though I was obviously alone and only had one free hand. Not going to waste my time or money here again. Extremely poor customer service.

In May, 2020, I contacted Lowe's to have a privacy fence installed. Vern, the salesman, came to my house twice and on the second visit, which occurred in June, 2020, I wrote a check for the full price of the fence (almost $14,000). I was told it would take about 5 weeks to have the fence installed and they would call me for an installation. Well, I've heard every excuse in the book -- COVID, delayed shipping, order was processed incorrectly on three different times, etc. I call and one time I'm told all the material is in, the next time, we are "just waiting on one item" and it is a joke. I don't believe them and am considering legal action. It is now October 16th and I don't have a fence, I don't have an install date, and I'm out $14,000. This is Montana. . .winter is setting in. Just shameful service. I can't recommend their fencing service to anyone and my neighbor originally was considering - I told her to reconsider to any place but Lowe's.

I bought a Hot Water Heater a little over a year ago. The dielectric nipple failed. I spent over 30 minutes being transferred from the operator to plumbing and back to operator and back to no answer in plumbing. Finally called back hit option for curb side, lady took information and next thing I knew had dial tone. Called and asked for manager, recapped my attempts for service. He told me only do curb side owner the internet. The lady did not tell me she was unable to help over phone. I was basically chastised for not knowing that. I finally got so frustrated I said never mind and he said ok he wouldn't. Last time I will walk in that store. Will shop Ace or Home Depot going forward.
