The Red Lion Hotel Kalispell is located in a great downtown area with easy access to shops and stores. Guests find the service good and management polite and helpful, with a very good breakfast offering a variety of items. The hotel features an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and a nice outdoor fire pit area. However, experiences with room conditions vary. Some rooms are great, but others face significant issues. House cleaning appears to be a challenge, with reports of halls not vacuumed, sticky elevator floors, super dirty carpets, dirty windows, and halls and rooms that can stink. The hot tub is noted as small. A recurring problem is malfunctioning air conditioning in some rooms, which does not get cold and makes sleeping difficult. While the pool area is clean and well-maintained, some feel the amenities are small for the hotel and note the pool is not heated. The hotel is considered by some to be expensive for the experience provided.
We have stayed here many times in the past. House cleaning appears to be a challenge. The halls were usually not vacuumed, elevator floor sticky. Woke up early, so went to the lobby for coffee. Front desk person said he wouldn't put any out until 3:30. No personality, wrong occupation for this young man.

upon checking in was nothing but 5 star service and no issues getting settled in. Management was very polite and helpful getting me settled in.has a very good breakfist variety of biscuits and gravy toast , sausage , potatoes , eggs , waffles , juice , coffee.
