Dr. Knighton worked tirelessly to find out what was wrong with our 2 year old doodle, who was very sick. The entire staff was so kind to us and loved on our boy for all the hours he spent there. He was comfortable and well taken care of. All of our questions were answered both in person and by phone when needed. The research paid off and now, though he needs daily meds, he is doing great. We cannot thank Dr. Knighton and the staff at Laurel East enough for giving us more time with our boy.

Terrible service. It was my first time being there. My original vet could not see my dog right away so I called this place instead. My dog was weak in the hind end and we felt she needed to see a vet right away. I walked in, said I was here for an appointment and the receptionist ignored me. I stood there in front of her for a long time and was not greeted. No one was around so she was not preoccupied.I finally see the vet. She evaluated my dog, did not take x-rays and said my dog had a slipped disc. Next, she tells me that she will do conservative treatment because the surgery was going to cost $5,000. After that, she "lectures" me in front of other employees telling me that my dog should not jump off furniture or go down steps and should always be kenneled because she is a dachshund and are prone to hurt their backs. I am aware because I have owned three dachshunds. She was rude and cold. So I kept my original date with my original vet which was two days later. My original vet took x-rays and found my dog has bone spurs. She does not need surgery and her condition is treatable. After one day, she is already feeling better. I will never go back to this horrible place. I have unused, unnecessary medication because of this misdiagnosis. The manager will not reimburse me for their misdiagnosis. Shame on that vet for not taking a step further in listening to me to give an x-ray. This vet was too concerned about treating me terribly. Do not waste your time or money here.

I cannot say enough positive things about Laurel East! I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 10 years, and the entire team, from the first phone call to the final goodbye, were so caring and compassionate. This was my first time having to put down an animal, and they made sure to walk me through everything in a way that I would understand, especially during this crisis. I cannot thank them enough for wonderful experience during a very horrible time. Thank you!

Great staff, knowledgeable and helpful. My dog Fank hurt his back (weiner dog) they got us in the same day, with no emergency charge. Very reasonable pricing. I won't be going anywhere else. Thank you Laurel East!

Our family is so thankful for this hospital. Our Stoney has had a cough and congestion for a couple of days and has been fighting meningitis for a couple of months. We are truck drivers and finding a vet that can get us in quick, much less without an appointment, is a challenge. This hospital got Stoney right in, diagnosed and on medication very quickly. The visit and medication was less than any other visit we’ve had so far. We can’t thank everyone here enough for getting her comfortable. We are so grateful for all of you!

This East Laurel animal clinic is just perfect. All your needs in ONE place. Very good service today. I wasn't aware they had a groomer business in the back. They helped me with a stray cat, I now proudly own, got him everything, physical, dewormed, micro chipped, vaccinated, nail trim, bathed at a good price. I would definitely recommend them. It's called the Animal Lodge, great service by a very caring staff.

Good service from vets, that is the couple days a week that they are there. They do not run in house labs so do not expect quick results on anything. They will never call you to communicate, although they notate it in their system that they do. If you have a pet that has longterm medical needs, this place will be your worst nightmare. Overpriced for the quality service provided.
