I can't wait to move so I can have internet that doesn't charge by the gig. Even a windows update will wreck my bill I hate it.

Great people to deal with but, their pricing for internet is not so great. They only have one option and it sucks if you want to stream in UHD or 4k.

They are stealing from people who use internet for work, hobbies, or games. Most games are 100GBs or more these days and to download 1 is equivalent to 20 dollars. Most people who stream regularly, game, or work from home use a minimum of a terabyte a month or the equivalent of 200 dollars. Every city I’ve lived in had gigabit speeds for less than 100 dollars a month unlimited. This is ridiculous.

2021 but still no unlimited package? So instead I pay an arm and a leg to stream some movies, only to find that half the time, your service isn't good enough to load the movie. I really hope mid-rivers gets some competition.

Charge you by the gigabyte!!! Just about everyone in Lewistown is being charged around 200 to 300 bucks a month. Morally reprehensible if you ask me! Especially if you have kids that want to stream games or Netflix. Ours is never under 250 dollars a month. And during pandemic??? Can't do anything about it either because they're the only game in town.AND the only solution they have is to set your apps and steaming to the absolute worst quality to save yourself a few bucks. 75 dollars? No. Per person in your family??In working with the elderly, who have kids over seas, these old folks can't afford to use wifi to talk them otherwise they'll go broke trying to pay for it.Mid rivers obviously isn't going to admit they're taking advantage of thousands of people. They own all the fiber optics and are a private company. You don't have a choice but to pay them. Strong arm robbery. But you can just not stream anything and that should save you some money. Ha!!!

The internet service itself is good. The reps are always friendly from my experience as well. They updated my router for free and the techs have always been pretty prompt and helpful. My complaint is that Midrivers has a monopoly in this area on high speed and they charge an exorbitant amount for data. I pay almost $200 a month at times whereas people in other markets pay $60 for the same amount of data. I have the most basic cable package which is pretty limited as it includes the networks, about 20 religious channels, and a few others and I think its around $25 (I have it to keep data usage low if I want something on in the background). Midrivers is going to really struggle when Star Link becomes widely available unless they address data pricing.

Today I posted on my Facebook page asking if anyone else's Midrivers was slow. One of the gals that works at Midrivers saw my post while she was at lunch and replied she'd check as soon as she got back from lunch, and she did!! Awesome service! Thanks Debby P. in Lewistown MT!

For a communication company they sure don't know how to communicate! They don't talk to landowners about ripping up their land and trees. They don't talk to each other. I caught them in several lies. Rude employees. I wouldn't use them if they were the only ones out there.
