The absolute best experience I’ve had with buying a product that’s requires decision making. It exceeds my needs. I am a Wildland firefighter and I lived out of the camper in Idaho this summer, and I’ve taken it all around the northern Rockies with my Tacoma.
Adam and the Sherpa team helped me wire up my truck to make it trailer ready also. We needed a part and ended up driving all the way to Bonners Ferry in Idaho to get the part. He’s the man!
He made sure I was good to go and is a man of his word! He understands how to be self sufficient and the minimalist set up and we’ve had tons of conversations about living out of the small space! The trailers design offers a ton of room for customization and opportunities to suit it to your needs. The metal siding of the trailer is magnetic, I got lights from Ace Hardware that use double AA batteries. Super convenient when you want to be quick and not use a generator. I’m thinking about throwing some solar on it! It is helping me save rent money as well.
The quality is unmatched. I visited the manufacturing facility in Libby, MT, and got to see how these were built.
The trailer was hand delivered by his team to where I live which is about 2 hours away if not farther. I have been waiting to post my review to add all the pictures from my adventures this summer.
Thanks again Adam, I’ll pop in there soon!

ADAM and the team are the best!
Kind and thoughtful, they do what they say. IM VERY HAPPY.
The quality of the product is incredible.
I picked it up and went from the pick up to a 7 day trip without a hitch.
Then a three day trip with know problems.
TIP Buy the 270 awning, and you will be very happy and get the admiration of your fellow campers!
Can't say enough good things!!!!

We had a leaf spring break on an 8 day road trip and were having trouble finding a place close by that had the part and getting in contact with someone to help us. Called this number and got in contact with Adam who called around the Rapid City area to find us a leaf spring. Adam found the part, bought 2 in case one broke, then gave us a call telling us where to pick it up from and that it was already paid for. The customer service was phenomenal and it was a huge relief to find someone so helpful so we could finish our road trip!

Adam, Joan, and the rest of the team at Sherpa are the friendliest people who provide the very best customer service experience. They walked us through the entire ordering and build process with patience and ease. Adam hand delivered our trailer to WA and made us feel like a welcome part of the Sherpa Family. We have had our trailer since December and have been winter camping most weekends for the past 3 months. The trailer does great and we can't wait to experience Summer camping! I can't recommend Sherpa Trailers enough!

We purchased our trailer in 2018 while living in California. After searching the market for months, we finally found exactly what we were looking for. Sherpa was excellent to work with, let us customize the trailer how we wanted, and had an amazingly affordable price. The entire experience was great - they want above and beyond to build and deliver the trailer on time.
We've taken this thing everywhere along the western US in all seasons, and have put it through the wringer off-roading. It's seen rough desert roads, climbed up steep, rocky mountain trails, and survived mother nature's toughest conditions. We bought a 'basic' trailer so we could have fun with a lot of the add-ons afterwards (e.g. shower, solar panel, roof rack), but has otherwise needed almost no maintenance. Been a great trailer for us, and we get compliments on it everywhere we go.

My wife and I had been researching and looking for a small tear drop trailer for a couple of years before she heard about Sherpa Trailers. We live in the Midwest but my wife is from the town of Libby that Sherpa Trailers is located. So it was a perfect opportunity to check them out first hand when we went to visit family. They took us through their "factory" where they fabricated the trailers. We got to see the whole process firsthand. We saw numerous trailers in various stages being built, which meant we got to see the quality of the materials they were using and the workmanship. The also had a completed trailer out front we got to explore. During our tour we decided to pull the trigger and order our trailer.
Joan was great! She went through all the various options, prices, timing, etc. while we were there. The process was pretty easy and didn't take much time. We left very please with what we selected and with the overall price. The new trailer we were getting from Sherpa was less expensive than the used ones we had come across while researching what to buy.
Joan continued to provide updates, including pictures, of how the build was going. We weren't in a hurry, given it was winter and we were in the Midwest, but the timing they quoted us was fairly accurate.
It's been about 1-1/2 years since we picked up the trailer and have not regretted our decision one bit. We have used it for a number of multi-day music festivals and camping in Missouri, where we live. We would absolutely do it again. We love the trailer and the experience was pretty seamless and effortless on our part.

My wife and I purchased a Sherpa Yeti in 2018 after my son stumbled onto one at a whitewater festival in Montana and told us about them. We had been looking at teardrops near our home in Colorado and were unsure about driving 1200 miles to look at something we might not even be interested in. Boy, are we glad we made the trip. Joan, Bruce, and Adam are about the nicest people you can meet. We spent most of a morning looking at their trailers, exploring options, and discussing how we planned to use it. We asked for a few non-standard options and they were very accommodating. We picked ours up about a month later and have been traveling with it ever since, from Saguaro National Park near Mexico to North Cascades National Park near Canada and all points in between. The trailer itself is simplicity personified but designed and built such that you can personalize it however you want. And unlike some other, unnamed, teardrop manufacturers (and we looked at a lot of them), their ruggedness is built in from the start, not needing ridiculously priced options. They don’t really offer customer service; it’s more like calling a neighbor. We’ve contacted them several times just for some general advice or recommendations; they give it freely with no real thought if it’s going to make them any money. We’ve been back several times to add some options and it’s similar to a reunion.
Criticisms? Not many. Libby isn’t on the beaten path (although exploring the area is value added). Short, crisp conversations? Not likely, these guys are enthusiastic about their trailers and want to share that enthusiasm with you. The Yeti does attract a lot of attention, especially when parked between land yachts in commercial campgrounds. Everyone wants to talk about it. We just hope that, as we age, they’ll build something a little taller. If you’re in the market for a tough, basic, reasonably priced teardrop with unlimited possibilities, you’re nuts if you don’t give Sherpa a look.

Awesome Trailer!
My wife and I began looking into trailers back in 2019 after and big family camping trip. Having a young child was the main appeal for wanting a trailer. After many months of researching I stumbled across SHERPA trailers in Montana. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, any time i had questions they would respond promptly. They had the most humble competitive prices i found. Their build were very simple too, no fancy nonsense, Just a very well built product. I highly recommend working with Sherpa you wont regret the trailer or the experiences you will get from it!

We love our Sherpa Trailer. They are so easy to work with, communication was easy and quick. We were able to customize our trailer to work perfectly for our family and they even worked with us to customize the suspension/wheels to match our truck. They even met us in WA only a few hours away to deliver the trailer. Highly recommend them!

I bought an offroad "Bigfoot" model from Sherpa, recently. Great build and great customer service. They basically let you customize it any way you want, and will encourage you to use the trailer before spending too much on features that you might not need. They also encourage you to add your own DIY customizations and are very helpful in the sense that they all own and operate their own trailers and know what works and what doesn't. The Bigfoot is nice and tows well. My only complaint is that it makes my truck look kind of weak by comparison and now I need new tires and rims!
I have never met a group of more honest business owners. Very fair priced and down-to-earth Libby locals. I suggest you give these guys a call. As a Columbia Falls resident of Montana, I highly appreciate honesty in business as I think it's one of the core values of our state. I promise you that you'll get a good experience with these guys and will consider inviting them over for a beer after you complete the purchase. They are HIGHLY trustworthy which is a rare thing in this crazy world we're living in!
Thanks for the great experience, Sherpa Trailers!
