You filled out tank no problem but then a very short time later we received a card from you that you are filling tanks at substantial less than what you charged us. That would have been a nice communication to us in advance and one that would have locked us as customers.

I have had nothing but problems with AmeriGas as a company since purchasing my house 2 years ago. The delivery drivers out of livingston have been phenomenal but every time I order propane I have numerous issues with my account. Everything from not sending bills to drastically over charging and then sending an invoice saying that I still owe on my account. Not to mention the fact that they are charging nearly double what the local average price is. I called multiple companies from Bozeman to Big Timber for those prices as well. AmeriGas has outright refused to sell the tank that has been on my property for God only knows how long and wants to charge me nearly 1000$ to have it removed so I can have a different company install a tank. Don't bother trying to call the Livingston office either because you immediately get sent to a call center! Even when you are told that a local representative will call you to help deal with the complaints it never happens!

The employees in the office have always been helpful and kind. The deliveries, even in the winter with a foot of snow are exceptional. However, this morning i tried calling the office and got a ridiculous phone tree that went on and on. Finally, after providing my zip code I was connected to a human who i could barely understand. I asked if I could speak to the Livingston office directly and his response was “The Livingston office no longer accepts phone calls from its local customers”Livingston office 5 starsCustomer Service from who knows where 1 star

My account has a number of errors - shows a billing for inspection fee that was waived when I placed my order, auto pay wants to charge a credit card that I no longer have rather than the default card that I have listed, and still shows a residence that I no longer own. I do not have access to edit my own account and your people can't or have no interest in doing so. Your out sourced customer assistance is a waste of time and money.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Ordered online for propane delivery over 3 weeks ago. Promised propane 2 weeks ago. No delivery. Follow up phone call x 2 with empty promises. Now promising propane delivery 4 weeks after I initially called but because the tank is so low, they require someone to be present to sign for it.Update 1 week after this post - The automated apology and request for more details to customer service has led nowhere. I received an automated call that propane was to be delivered within 24 hours. It was not delivered again as promised. I would downgrade to zero stars if that was possible and I will change our propane vendor.

Horrible customer service. Delivery window is 10 days past due, numerous phone calls, "escalations", and still no one can indicate when propane might be delivered. Customer service is centralized and they are reading from a script and verifying your account info. That's it.

Recently the price went from $2.70 to $4.04 per gallon. This is a pretty drastic price change especially when I did research that our area average is $2.50. I called Silvertip Propane literally right next door, they picked up and it is a local guy. They charge $2.54 per gallon. I’ve been with Northern AG for some time and wanted to give them the opportunity to match the price. When I called, I was redirected 3 times, hung up on once and all the agents were foreign. I was told they couldn’t match the price. What a rip off plus you can’t even speak to a local agent. Canceling my service and moving to Silvertip. Great customer service and even worked with us to get processed early so our order would be prioritized since we ran out of propane. Plus 35% cheaper at Silvertip. This is one of those big companies that could careless about their customers. Supports better businesses

Avoid this company. They have predatory pricing structures. They'll increase them over time and hope you won't notice when the rest of the providers in the area can be several dollars a gallon cheaper.They also don't pick up the phone or answer emails. Shockingly bad customer service.

Pricing is far far far higher than others in town. If you ever hope to talk to anyone expect at least an hour on hold before youre transferred and the line hangs up. They don't answer emails either.Please head my warning and avoid this company

Does anyone actually work here? I have tried calling more times than I can count at all times of the day. I've been on hold for a minimum of 45 minutes each time and have heard wait times of an hour and a half. They don't offer call back service so your screwed if you want to try to get a hold of them. Email's go unanswered. Horrible customer service and overpriced gas prices. This business sucks!

Good luck calling. So far I've received wait times of 30 to 90 minutes. Today I was told 20 by the automated line and waited for 40 minutes with no answer. One time I waited an hour. The hold music is tinny and repetitive. I've reached an actual person two times out of the 9 times I have called in the past 7 days. Did I mention getting an 89 minute hold time at 8:05AM? I find it impossible to believe.This company does not care about customers, at all.
