“If you’re anywhere near Livingston, stopping by Mordam Art Gallery is a must! Bonnie’s glass artwork and jewelry is absolutely beautiful and made from some of the highest quality glass in the world. Her husband’s oil paintings are an incredible tribute to the beauty of our state. On top of it all, the shop cats are sweethearts, and Bonnie herself has a heart of gold. I can’t recommend stopping by enough, even if it’s just to say hi and get a good lunch recommendation!”
“We traveled via road trip from Vancouver WA to Southern Montana for a family vacation. One of my favorite movies of all time is A River Runs Through It so I had been spending my time traveling the surrounding areas and taking shots of the filming locations.
Livingston was my last stop and I snagged a photo of the church from the film, went and grabbed lunch, and then we discovered Wheatgrass Books.
Upon entering the store the first thing I see is a table of books near the door with a sign highlighting to read the book before seeing the movie. Many Odyssey copies were on there and they caught my eye as I’m looking forward to seeing the film in July.
But resting right next to them, a single copy of A River Runs Through It. It felt like fate as I didn’t even think about the book until I saw it. Makes sense they’d have a copy but at the same time I wasn’t expecting it. I had to buy it.
The Store Owner was very kind and built rapport with me around the film, even highlighting that an Opera was being made of it, which we both found kind of ridiculous but you gotta see it am I right? If I was here in September I totally would.
Wheatgrass Books made the closing end of my trip a special one. Purchasing this book in Livingston MT will be a memory of a lifetime.”
“I just picked up my Monte Dolack print that The Frame Garden matted and framed for me and I'm just in love with it! The process was simple and the staff were helpful and easy going as they guided me through my options for matting, frame, and pricing. I would highly recommend them for your framing needs!”
