Wow. This is in response to the Daniel P. reveiw: I've been a member at the Firehall for over 4 years, been a gym goer for almost 30, and I've never seen an issue with the Firehall being 'gross', at all. I would suppose if a member thought so about a facility they'd leave it instead of staying for over a year? Especially after supposedly contracting a health issue??? Regarding the fingerprint thing he mentions, I've had access to the large towels myself for about two years, and the fingerprint referenced is a special lock that I've never even seen anywhere else, it's absolutely cool that I can get shower towels easily whenever I want to. The water is too hard? Seriously? Doesn't the City provide the water? And the electronic payments, I just switched from Verizon to At&T, had to pay a fee to close the account early...like every business in the world requires? Sounds to me like the guy just didn't want to pay a bill and decided to just haze a small business. The Firehall is a great gym for a small town definitely, it's not perfect at all of course, I wish they carried larger dumbbells, they only go to 100pds. But they have everything large city gyms have. And both owners are very present and seem to know everyone, I've never been there and not been addressed by my name by them, I watch them being very engaged with their members. So other than small things like the dumbbells, I've always been very happy with what they provide, and would recommend that anyone reading an obvious smear attempt in a reveiw look further before making judgement.

I had a membership for around a year here. The lockers were pretty gross unless you happened to be in there right after they got done cleaning them. I'm guessing they don't clean them every day. I got athlete's foot and jock itch, The first month I was there, even being careful--the staff was not helpful and not friendly the owner was very condescending. And got irritated when I paid the extra $5 to use the towels, and he had to scan my fingerprint so I could get access to them. The water must go in a filtered water bottle, or it will make you sick. There are a lot of hard water deposits on the fountain. I went in to cancel my membership because I was leaving town, and the staff told me I would pay for another whole month even though I ended my membership before the 1st of the month. I contacted my bank to put Firehall fitness on payment hold. On the 1st of the following month, the owner called and said he had problems getting this month's payment. I told him I canceled my membership last week. He explained that since all these "new" electronic payments, he had to charge for an extra month even after a compensated membership and gave some very unconvincing reasons. I told him he wasn't getting that payment; he told me it would go to collections. I told him good luck with that. He slapped his phone to make it sound like he had hung up, but the line stayed on for another 30 seconds, and I could hear him breathing through my EarPods. He owns both gyms in town, and I keep hearing stories like this from other customers. Usually, I'd instead go to a locally owned gym, but this town could use a franchise gym to keep competition up. And Drama down.

Staff is awesome, facility is awesome. If you can't find what you need here, well...I dont know what to tell ya. Other members are friendly and have even given me pointers to get those gains! Great place to get it done. I dig it.

I was really rooting for this gym but the owner, Charles is aggressive, unprofessional and just a little...slimy. It just sets a tone for the whole experience. The equipment is ok, and they keep it clean enough, but in my two years there, I’ve realized that any chance they get to screw over a member of the community in order to make an extra months membership, they will absolutely take it.

Great gym and a very professional owner. There was a glitch with my key card to allow access and Charles (the owner) gave me a free week of membership. A real integrity move in my opinion. Highly recommend.

My husband is a year long member and we paid for a (very reasonably priced) day pass so I could tag along for a day.The facility was extremely clean, up to date equipment, a great layout, and Daniel at the counter was super friendly, giving us a welcoming and amusing tour.It was the first time I've been able to go to a gym in 3 years and Firehall absolutely did not disappoint. They are worth your time and money!

This place lacks certain equipment that the owner is too stingy to consider. Not to mention it's overpriced monthly fee and terrible staff.

Terrible gym. I've been a dedicated weightlifter in the area, and apparently that made the owner jealous. The guy has insecurities that could potentially spike you if you are trying to be serious about your workouts. Spent time scrutinizing me in conversations about personal things which he had no business in knowing. If you are looking for a place where you can go to just simply workout, I suggest somewhere else.

Poor and disrespectful customer treatment. Had a difficult time feeling welcome here by the owner and staff. Owner especially was forcefully intrusive during some workout sessions, looking to pry into my personal life without any consideration or decency. Unfortunately the only two gyms in this area have been recently monopolized by him. I would highly recommend going to Bozeman, where there is more selection of gyms and definitely a more comfortable workout environment.

Probably the worst gym experience I've ever had in my twenty five years of training. The owner not only watches you work out on camera...but charges all over the place for normal gym....no towels unless you want pay a dollar fifty for one use..if your seventy dollars a month per person.. provide a towel. Oh yeah and owner has a monopoly so if you upset him in little man syndrome you can't even go to the gym in Livingston Montana. Do your self a favor and take hike instead.
