“I highly recommend Kari and Katie at GEM Jewelers. I came to GEM to get help creating a custom engagement ring. I had never stepped in a jewelry store before and was feeling very out-of-place and overwhelmed by the process—but that feeling didn’t last long! Kari was so welcoming, friendly and personable! The ring was incredible, it was so well made and she sized it down perfectly after we found it to be too big. Kari and Katie did an amazing job throughout the entire experience form creation to completion and the support afterward! GEM is the place to go for next piece of jewelry!”
“I had a great time browsing in this store. There’s a ton of great stuff and a decent collection of used vinyl. I met the lovely owner and left with purchases that I’m excited about.”

“I adore this store, all the dresses are listed by actual measurements, not the outdated sizes you will find on vintage clothing. The owner also will measure you in store! Making it ridiculously easy to find clothing in your size, no guess work! There is also two changing rooms so you can be sure you love the clothing before you purchase it!
I actually didn’t find anything in my size originally on the racks that I liked but I told her what I was looking for and she went downstairs and brought back a box of dresses exactly like I described!! I left with three dresses, they were $36 a pop! An amazing deal for dresses from the 60’s that fit me perfectly and matched my style and vision. This store will be added to my list of regular stops for when I find myself returning to Missoula!”
“I always make sure to stop by this shop when I’m in town!! The owner is super nice & the shop has name brands like Carhartt & Patagonia. Really good prices too compared to other vintage stores!”
“Clean, Friendly, Best Shop Hands Down! Brian is friendly and a great business owner, taking pride in quality products and a beautiful shop. Definitely a contribution to Missoula in every way.”
“Back in 1979 my buddy Harold Trowbridge worked at this store, looking at the contents currently in stock it looks exactly the same.I love that it is still there, so much of the Missoula I knew growing up is long gone.”
“First time in Missoula, wandering around and found this charming boutique. It was Betty's birthday so they were handing out free earrings! I scored a Compania Fantastica bikini 50% off. You'll also find brands like RVCA, Obey, Le Lis, can't remember them all. Sustainable clothing brands too, yay. Love all of the assorted accessories and lip balms and goodies sprinkled around the register. Great spot to treat yourself or a find a gift!”
“I love this store! Knowing I can get my daughter high-quality, name-brand clothing at an affordable price is excellent. It is so important to have for our community and planet. Reuse recycle ♻️”
“I absolutely loved the Loose Moose. It is a vintage book, clothing, and ect store. Heavy on the ect. It was clean, friendly, and well stocked! There wasn't a corner that did not possess a tchotchke. And I say that with affection. Come check it out if you are in Downtown Missoula, it is a treasure.”
“Excellent owner, excellent shop, best place to get all your horse needs from English to western and anything in between. Great prices and wonderful to work with. I don't use any other shop. From serious tack to good clothes, packing supplies and boots, all you need in a one stop shop.”
