Great service with quick pick up and drop off of the 4wd Jeep which was great on snow and ice. The gas fill options are confusing. If you bring it back w 1/4 tank or less you get some kind of discount but that was too hard to predict so we filled up at the city rate which I the ink was better than the drop off rate anyway. Otherwise the folks were helpful and the car was in good shape.

We had a wonderful experience. We got a great car at a good price. The pickup and drop-off process was convenient, and very easy. We actually booked through our airline which was United. I would definitely use Budget again based on my experience.

Good price but it was reflected in the vehicle quality. Haven’t received a rental car this shoddy since the days of Rent-a-Wreck. Numerous dents and scrapes, dark stains all over the seats, no floor mats. 37,000+ miles on the odometer. Ironically, the counter agent had cheerily informed us that we were “…getting an upgrade.”

Terrible experience — The first rental car we went to was filthy outside, but that was okay we were willing to overlook that, but when we opened the door, it smelled awful inside, and was filthy inside too. The smell and dirty interior were unacceptable. So we went inside, explained the situation and the rep gave us a 2nd car, the only one left in that class. It was also filthy inside, and we could visibly see the dirt on the back seat and wipe it off and dirty handprints on seats/interior. We were again disappointed in the quality of cleaning that was done. So we went in, waited in line again, for a 3rd time. The rep indicated we would have to upgrade to a different class, and pay the difference, or we could wait and she offered to clean it herself and we could wait on it. Based on how dirty that car was, we didn’t not want to continue to waiting on our vacation for the car to be cleaned properly. I also didn’t want to pay for an upgrade and get another filthy car, so she showed it to us prior to our commitment to upgrade. We have never received a rental car that was dirty, smelly, or both nor have we ever had to request a different car. I would have expected Budget to have covered the upgrade since it was a service quality issue. I was severely disappointed in my experience with Budget. I have given a rating of 1 because the counter rep was professional.

I was disappointed in the fact, firstly, that the reservation and quick check out took so long to get completed. It was as if I had not done the quick pick up portion of the rental. Secondly, I had rented the vehicle 2-3 weeks in advance and upon pulling away from the rental facility it was apparent that it had not been inspected for road worthiness and had severe mechanical issues in the suspension.I had rented a premium vehicle a d was given a less than premium vehicle as a replacement with broken down seats and a passenger window that did not operate at all.Then, to top it all off, instead of a rebate/or partial refund being offered for these horrible circumstances, I was offered an "upgrade" for the next rental I may need in the future. This is unacceptable as what makes anyone think I would take the chance of renting anything through Budget again? They didn't make anything right, they just tried to find a way for me to spend more money in order to get the rebate/refund due to me because of the companies failure to make sure they were offering a decent product/service to begin with. It would be different if they went above and beyond and wanted to make things right with THIS transaction, but they would rather take the money and run. If this doesn't get fixed for this transaction, I will make sure to recommend a DIFFERENT car rental agency to my business colleagues and friends and I will NEVER use Budget again.

Very clean! Everyone was so kind at Budget. I had to laugh that I’m only 4’11” driving this beast, but it was awesome!

I prepaid for an 11 day rental and paid over $1,000. Upon returning the vehicle, with nothing out of order, I was charged another $231.00 for miscellaneous bogus charges. They even included a refueling charge, which was removed only after showing a receipt of refueling the vehicle about 15 minutes prior to the return.

charged me $80 because I was 25 minutes late? with noone to check the car in or read the odometer in the return parking lot? If you are going to charge for being late, it should be prorated by the minute, not the hour. no consideration of the lack of employees, so you charge the customer - again. Well, never again - too many other choices in MSO to go budget.

I reserved a vehicle from Budget (Missoula Airport) starting 7/18/23. I was told by Budget that the delay in getting the car was because it was "being cleaned". When I got the car, the seats were dirty/stained with food/garbage waste in the center console box between the front seats & under the front seats. I reported this to the Budget counter staff & was told they were "moving a little too fast" & there would be a "coupon". There was no offer to have the car replaced or cleaned so I threw out the trash myself, wiped down the interior with disinfecting wipes & bought towels to cover the seats during my trip. I kept finding more food crumbs everywhere. When I returned the vehicle, I was told there was no "coupon" applied to my account but he would ask his supervisor to contact me later that day which also did not happen. If you prefer a reasonably clean vehicle for your $1000, then I unfortunately have to recommend that you rent elsewhere.

Excellent service in Missoula, Montana. A quick change of cars into a Jeep Wrangler was no problem. The Jeep was awesome and so was the pickup and return!

Super easy, paid and checked in online before I got to the airport. The only thing that bothered me was it was not super clear that I was only paying for the car online, and I got sprung with a charge the same price as the rental itself for a security deposit.

Missoula rental location is quick and efficient. Our car was clean and drove beautifully on the bumpy Montana roads. I’m sure a lot of cars come back as muddy as ours so I can assume the detailing crew pays a lot of attention to detail.

The car we rented from Budget was fairly priced. The staff at the Missoula airport where we picked up the car were efficient and friendly. We arrived early and our car wasn't ready, but the staff told us to go to the hotel and relax and they would call us when the car became available. And they did! About 4 days later, the rental car experienced engine trouble. The owner's manual said to stop driving it and seek service. This was a Sunday afternoon. We called the Budget roadside assistance number and a very nice lady helped us. We were over two hours away from another Budget rental car location. She arranged for a tow truck to pick up the replacement car and drive it to us. It then towed off the defective car. What could have been a nightmare turned into just a few hours of inconvenience. I would happily rent from Budget again.
