We (hubby & I) have never stayed at this place before. We come to Missoula a lot, but we always stay at our 'preferred' hotel. Well last month when we were in mizz our reg hotel did us real dirty. But, I was hesitant to find a new hotel. We came here, and I have got to say, they are awesome! First of all, the upgrades you did to the rooms are perfect. Especially the bedding. For me, the whole point of a hotel is the bed. I want a comfortable place to sleep. You provided a crud ton of pillows with different levels of hardness and the bedding was soft and fluffy and the mattress was really nice. The room had all the really great amenities, shampoo conditioner and it was just a quaint and pleasant stay. Secondly, and most importantly, your front desk girl that checked us in was the sweetest! We had puppies with us, and as she didn't have anyone else you needed to check in? She came out and petted them briefly. She was a very sweet girl and continued to mention that she wasn't there 24 hours but they could be called at any time. Which was really nice. We had a great stay!

This place was really just what I was looking for. I enjoy being able to walk right into my room instead of going through a lobby and up an elevator.It is thoughtfully updated and things feel quality. Smelled good. Had good temp gauges for cool and warm. Loved the long hot shower in the tiled shower. The lobby is only open until 10pm but that didn't bother me and they said I could still call them in the off hours. The recessed light fixtures could maybe use a little work in the room I had, but otherwise it's great overall.

Classic, clean, and cozy roadside motel. Everything you need is within walking distance. 1 minute drive to the Interstate. The building is well kept and maintained. Nice modern renovations. Bathroom was especially nice. Support a local business and stay here next time you are in Missoula!Walkability: Right on the edge of downtown. Everything is in walking distance.

I really enjoyed my 3-night stay here recently (Aug. 2023.) Clean, quiet and very close to everything. I felt very comfortable. My daughter stayed here for one night a few years ago and recommended it. Friendly, helpful staff, too. I stayed at another hotel (much more expensive) on my last night as I wasn't able to get 4 nights in a row but after staying at City Center Motel I would rather have been here that last night.Nearby activities: Very convenient location near hiking trails, the river, restaurants, shops, grocery store, city bus station.Walkability: I could walk from motel very easily--everything is close by.

Older motel remoded very nice. Comfortable and clean. No breakfast but that was ok. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful!

Has everything you want in a motel. Nice central location. Super nice desk staff (Keyvin). Laminate floors which don’t retain dirt/odors like carpet does. Very comfortable mattress with luxurious bedding and multiple blankets so you can adjust warmth as needed.

Well, most channels didn't work on the TV. Only less than half of a toilet paper roll was in the bathroom. I asked for directions at the front desk while checking in, and she said she was horrible with directions. Luckily I figured out where I was going for myself. For 99 bucks, I've stayed in actual hotels, that had way more options....

If you set your expectations to "motel", you will be as happy here as I was. It's clean, safe, affordable, and all of my interactions with the staff were excellent. In fact it's the people who work at the front desk that put a lot of hotels to shame. I will stay here again.

Let's be real, it's a motel y'all ?. That said, it's super clean, has helpful and friendly staff, and has been updated. It doesn't feel like most motels, which was a welcomed change. It's also within walking distance to some cool shops and restaurants. We'd stay here again if another concert peaks our interest.

Room smelled very strongly of harsh cleaning chemicals that gave us bad headaches. They offered another room but it smelled the same. We couldn’t get a refund, so we attempted wiping down the floors, thinking maybe that’s where the smell was coming from. The floors were pretty dirty. Ended up keeping the window and door propped open and bringing in my own blankets from the truck to keep warm in the 20-degree temps. I don’t like to write bad reviews but only booked this place because of great reviews that I’m now questioning the legitimacy of.

Room was very clean. Staff was excellent. Loved that I had everything I needed for stay. Fantastic location walking distance to breweries, restaurants, University of Montana, and parks. I will always pick this hotel to stay when I am in Missoula.

Charged 150 for the room, little did we know they would sneak in an additional 250 dollar charge for "noise complaints" and apparently we littered the parking lot, even though there is a garbage can right next to the room.... Was very disappointed by the room for 150, had we known they would have added an extra 250 dollars we would have gotten a nice hotel room... Also nobody had said anything that we were being too loud, no staff to be seen... Incredibly aggravating considering the situation.Would not recommend to anybody.

Good accommodations and comfortable bedding! City Center Motel is in downtown Missoula and worked great for our large group of friends.
