I bought my 9 year old a gold and black controller for his birthday we bought the most expensive controller thinking it would last a little longer it broke in 2 weeks and 2 days he said we were a couple days over the return time frame and wouldn't refund or trade it in for a new one. These people are so cheap i will never shop here again two weeks it lasted!

The employees in the store were helpful and polite. However, they sold me a used Xbox One with a broken power cord. I have tried to call them about 20 times in the last two days and they will not answer their phone. Very frustrating experience.

Customer service is amazing! However, I ordered a used ps4 online and the controller sent with it is unusable. I didn't have high hopes when ordering used but I certainly thought they'd at least make sure their products are functional before selling.

Review of GameStop:
I recently visited GameStop, my experience was a mix of positives and negatives, leading to my 3 out of 5 rating.
On the positive side, GameStop's range of video games, including both new releases and classics, is impressive. They also have a good variety of gaming accessories and merchandise, which is great for enthusiasts looking to enhance their gaming setup or show off their fandom. The store layout is navigable, making it easy to find specific items.
However, there were a few downsides. The prices at GameStop can be steep compared to online retailers, which might deter budget-conscious gamers. Additionally, the trade-in values for used games are disappointingly low, which is a letdown for those looking to exchange old games for new ones. Another point of contention is the staff's approach; while some are knowledgeable and helpful, others seem less enthusiastic and less informed about the latest gaming trends.
Overall, GameStop is a decent destination for gamers, offering a wide selection in a convenient, physical store setting. However, its pricing and trade-in policies, along with the hit-or-miss customer service, make it less appealing compared to other shopping options.

The clerk was extremely rude. After politely saying no thanks to a membership, he proceeded to shame me and demand that I listen to him upsell services. The other worker was very kind but this horrible man ruined my entire trip.

I just gotta give a shout-out to Dawsyn H at the Southgate Mall Game Stop location. This guy was so helpful and beyond patient with me as I had a bunch of PS4 controllers that I needed to sell. This guy was totally professional the whole time, and it took a long time. There was quite a line of customers building up, but he never lost his cool, even as some people in line began to get impatient. Thanks again Dawsyn, he got me the best deal I could ask for and his customer service was phenomenal!!!!
