JOANN Fabric and Crafts is a one-stop shop for DIY needs, inspiring creativity with project supplies for nearly 75 years. It offers a great selection including fabric, sewing machines, yarn, beads, scrapbooking products, baking supplies, and holiday items. It is the place where America's sewers and crafters shop, discover, and learn. The store is awesome for the eyes and heart for sewing supplies. Since COVID, locations have been very clean and organized, with employees following safety protocols. The people working checkout are often described as really nice, pleasant, helpful, and super sweet. However, the store faces challenges. It is frequently understaffed, leading to shelves that look low and boxes of new merchandise creating an obstacle course in the aisles. This understaffing has also resulted in reduced hours, with early closures on weekends. Some customers express frustration with online orders being canceled without explanation. Despite these issues, many remain faithful customers who love the store and prefer seeing supplies like fabric in person.
