I don't leave reviews often, but after my experience I couldn't let anyone else go without knowing how you may be treated at this establishment.I was gifted a massage by a boss as a bonus. When I went in to redeem my gift certificate I was told I couldn't "redeem" it and I would have to pay full price. This is absolutely ridiculous and it said nowhere on the certificate that it could expire or not be used if the member was "no longer a member" of their boutique. They also refused to let me pay up front, so I unfortunately already had my massage when it came time to pay.Needless to say, I will not be giving this establishment my business again. If I was relaxed before I went to pay, I most certainly was not by the time I left the business. I left very angry and frustrated that what was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon before my wedding turned into an expensive and frustrating day.

How am I supposed to use up my massage credits "accumulated but paid for" if I can't get an appointment? Very frustrating because if I cancel now I'm out quite a bit of money.

**ZERO STARS**I have NEVER written a bad review. But, this situation definitely needs to be addressed and others warned!I went to Massage Envy, the Missoula, MT location, to get a massage for neck issues. The gentleman that did the massage was wonderful, that was not the problem. The gal at the front desk talked me into getting a membership, which did reduce what I would pay monthly for massages. She did inform me of the policies about canceling the membership early. She DID state that there were obviously unforseen circumstances that they would honor.Fast forward a few months. I was being charged monthly for these services. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use a single massage I was charged for. At 39 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I immediately had to have surgery, and also radiation. I am still waiting on one final pathology report to determine if Chemo is needed. Obviously, with major surgery and the treatments I'm facing, massage is not safe for me. I called the office to discus this with them, at which point they transfered me to the manager. She was extremely rude and unsympathetic. She flat out told me "I'm sorry about whatever your diagnosis is, but there is nothing we can do" THEN proceed to tell me "we won't refund any of your money, and you need to pay your last 3 payments" Again, I explained to her that I have CANCER...it is not safe for me to get madsages, and because of my diagnosis I am unable to work and I can't afford what they are charging me ...for a service I have NEVER USED! She told me "too bad, I signed a contract, there is no way out". I even offered to bring supporting medical documentation, and/or a note from my Oncologist. She would not even discuss it.I am so incredibly angry and disappointed. This is completely unacceptable. I never saw myself getting cancer and having to cancel my agreement. I would much rather pay my monthly dues and get massages rather than battle cancer.DO NOT SUPPORT OR USE MASSAGE ENVY. They are rude, mean, and very untruthful. I will continue spreading my story until they do what is right and refund my money. I am out over $400.00. Do what is right, refund my money,

I have no problems with the actual services of this location. Massages, stretching, and facials have all been great.My problem is that I have accrued 13 credits, because I have not been able to schedule a massage before I accrue more credits. I cannot dig myself out of this hole! I want to cancel my membership, but if I do, I lose out on almost $800!! I asked for a refund, but was told no. I asked for an opportunity to use up the credits I have already paid for, but was told I can put my account on hold for six months at an ADDITIONAL cost of $10/month. Which is impossible at the rate I am able to schedule. At the end of six months, I will go back to accruing credits.This is such scummy business practice! Through no fault of my own, I am trapped into this membership that I can't get rid of without losing out on a significant amount of money I already paid for services NOT rendered.Beware of the membership at this location!! It is a trap and you will not be able to get a massage monthly as they promise in the agreement. You will be forced to hold up your end of the bargain, but they won't hold up theirs!!

Went in for a massage and made the therapist aware that I was training for a marathon and had just run 20 miles. Asked for my legs to be massaged, what ended up happening was the therapist spent 90 minutes massaging the front of my legs and my shoulders and never even flipped me. Then said "I'm sorry, we've run out of time".Was waiting to write a review, I followed the advice from previous negative reviews that were replied to by their corporate office, and responded directly to their website to which they said they would get back to me within 48 hours. It's been 72 hours and I have heard nothing. I highly recommend not going here for your next massage.

5 stars for Zach's hot stone massage! It was the perfect relaxing massage, Zach has great technique and the most soothing manner. I think I've found my massage forever home in Missoula! You'll have to book quite a bit in advance but really well worth it. Front desk staff was also very friendly and efficient - kudos!

The massage received was bu Sam(Samantha) and it was one of the best massages I have ever received, if not the best.Massage Envy entire staff are great people and the prices and scheduling are fair and convenient. Definitely recommendMassage Envy off Higgins Road.
