We love the environment of the Y. Kid friend but adult only areas. Good programming. Glad they are doing major updating now as it is long overdue.

I was just helped by bill regarding a dispute I would like to make and I have never experienced such gracious and kind hearted assistance. Thank you Bill for making my morning easier than I expected.

Front desk never knows what time the pool closes. If you call the front will say a time, you get there and the pool staff kick you out at a different time. Very frustrating.

Front desk is poorly staffed and just generally unable to answer basic membership questions. They will tend to numerous other tasks before even acknowledging someone at the counter needing assistance. Offers by staff to reach out via email go unfulfilled. I have never had a good experience visiting this establishment.

Attention all parents at this location I witnessed a fully adult naked female in the locker room along with young boys. Thus apparently allowed in their policy. It’s time to stand up and call upon our representatives to correct this injustice. It’s disgusting and the YMCA obviously doesn’t have the morals or backbone to correct. They were obviously don’t have your kids safety as their top priority. If they’re letting females into the men’s locker room I’d be willing to bet they allow men into the women’s locker.Spread the word or this will just get swept under the rug.

Filthy place. Only thing cleaned in the locker rooms is the counter and toilets. The showers have black mold and the lockers look like they haven't been cleaned for a year. The floor of the dry sauna is caked with nastyness and you have to listen to pop radio because there are no quiet times, due to the lifeguards NEEDING music 24/7. The customer is not valued unless you fall in line and deal with the bs. Waste of money and time.

Awesome organization! So compassionate and kind. My son and I are so thankful for the kindness their staff/admin extended us!Reading some of the reviews—no place is perfect, we’re all human and have bad days. After all is said and done though, this place was our saving grace and we will be forever grateful for them!

Appreciate the variety and times of classes and their quality instructors. This summer's exercise machine updating is great and the intensive cleaning well-done. This place fits my needs for classes, hours open, no-wait time for equipment, space and mirrors for individual work, and reasonable cost.

Hopefully my one experience is unique. Tried to take my 10 month old daughter to the pool. The pool is fairly small and more than half of it is swim lanes. So, I took her into the shallow end of non-swimlane section. After about 5 minutes i was told that i couldnt be in that section, but i could go anywhere that wasnt swimlanes or the shallow end of the non-swim lanes section. So, basically the "any other part of the pool" that i could "feel free to use" with my infant daughter was the 10-12 foot deep section of the pool.At least the girl at the front desk didn't charge us.

My experience with and at the Missoula YMCA has been extremely outstanding. The YMCA has an amazing verity of amenities/utilities you can use, and they are maintained and kept up to date. Along with a beautiful and welcoming facility and staff. From all the gyms I have been a member of I can confidently say the YMCA has the best staff; they are extremely friendly, greet you by name if known, are very helpful, and just overall people you feel care about your success at the gym. I would like to specifically mention that Ryan True and Kellan Rohde have been a true representation of this welcoming and ever so friendly environment. Every interaction I have had with these gentleman has always been a delight and extremely helpful.Moving on from the outstanding staff, the gym it’s self does not fall short of that same fabulous impression and expectation. As I mentioned earlier the facility it’s self is kept clean, up to date, and covid germ reduction compliant. You will find that many areas around the gym have disinfecting sprays. These disinfecting sprays where present before the covid pandemic, but have increased throughout the pandemic. The gym is very spacious, and for me at least has never been crowded. The YMCA features a very nice indoor track, which I personally love and use every time. The pool area is one of the nicest a gym in Missoula has in my opinion. And is properly guarded by individuals such as Kellan, which unfortunately I have seen other gyms struggle with. The Missoula YMCA has a terrific selection of staff and facility, but also has amazing values and believes. The YMCA is truly inclusive and welcoming to everyone. The YMCA also helps out a lot in the community, and overall are very community focused. For it is that these specific values and believes is one of the sole reasons I am a member of the YMCA.In summary it is because of the above and beyond staff, fantastic facility, and believes and values that I am a proud member of the Missoula YMCA.

A few instructors are great. The front desk is great. The administration? If you have a question or an issue that the front desk isn't able to resolve, they will direct you to the appropriate administrator who will not answer the phone, will not return phone messages and will not respond to email. No, we haven't been nasty or negative. We've just been seeking information.
