This was the best car rental experience I’ve ever had! Thank you so much for providing five star service on a rental with ADA hand controls. Thank you for having hand controls as an option in the mobile app and then calling to confirm from the actual location that the vehicle would be ready. Additionally, upon arrival the pickup agent at the counter was well aware that I would need the vehicle with hand controls based on my appearance in a manual wheelchair and knew exactly what to do. #accessibilitymatters thank you for having a culture of disability inclusion.Keep up the good work and you have earned a customer for life!!Avis / Budget take notes!

My car was extremely beat up and absolutely DISGUSTING on the inside. I used the two wipes to wipe down everything like I usually do and the white wipes at the end were a DARK brown. It was gross.

It is the same at all national locations. No more emerald isal. When you go on line it says there is no cars available but the lot is full of cars at the location. I found that this is because no one updates the web sight.Montana was good except my car broke down in the middle of nowhere in Montana. They said they would send someone and no one showed up. I spent the night in the car. I got it started the next day and took it to Bozeman to exchange it. They did take money off for my troubles.When you call for roadside assistance they use a third party company out of the country. This third party can't speak English well and is very hard to communicate with.Overall I am a Diamond member with Nation and I am going to switch to a different company. National has always been my favorite but they have gone way down hill. Without the use of an emerald isle and there of give a damb I'm out.

Your Emerald executive level doesn’t help you at this location. You still need to stand in line to get your car. You do get couple of choices for cars. There are counters for National, Enterprise and Alamo which are manned by same crew. I guess because it’s owned by same company. Lines were moving slow because there is no self checkout option. Everyone has to stand in line to get a car. So plan for 30-60 mins in your plan. Car choices were not great. My car had more than 50k miles on it. I don’t think I have seen such an old car in other locations. I guess it could be supply and demand situation. Staff was very courteous. Management needs to change few things to make checkout faster and also look at inventory of the cars. My car kept giving me maintenance required message from the start of the trip.

I rent from national all the time. Once a week for the past 6 mo this place is the only place that gives me a headache. Young lady at the counter was rude. The car they gave me is not in good condition. It shakes while driving (i know what the problem is but its not my job to up keep their vehicles). If you're looking to rent a car from here, dont. You may lose out on points but budget seems to be a better option.

Achieving executive elite status the past 2 years means nothing to the agents at the Spokane Washington airport (GEG), they charged me for an upgrade I had no knowledge of because other places never charge. 30 days later when I returned the car it was an extra $400 on top of my rental price.... Agents there do not care, zero customer service, they are very rude, it’s like walking on eggshells when you approach the counter.My wife also had to return a rental I reserved for her with my free days, well Tristan I believe that was her name was charging my wife full price. My wife called me in a panic wanting to know what was going on, the agent refused to help us, listen or even look at the reservation slip I emailed. I walked over to the counter in Missoula Montana (MSO), they pulled up my reservation and charged me the correct amount without any complaints and happy to help.I really don’t know why the agents in Spokane are the way they are but it’s always a very unpleasant experience. It’s enough that I created an account with one of your competitors and currently have a rental from them. It’s unfortunate that’s the only national location in Spokane and being based in Spokane I have no choice but either deal with it or book from someone else.

My rental car experience while in Missoula Montana was excellent. There was a long line when I approached, but the person behind the counter kept his cool, was speedy in getting everyone's agreements and very friendly. Highly recommend National

Our experience with National Car Rental in Missoula was excellent. Everything was ready to go when we arrived, and we spent less than 5 minutes at the counter before heading out to our car. The employee helping us was courteous and helpful. The return was even faster with their express return service. Will definitely use National again when visiting Missoula.

Horrible experience. Reserved car in Missoula Airport for 12pm. Took 45 minutes to check in. They had no one working the National counter so had to check in at Enterprise desk. The line had at least 30 people in it and there was only one poor girl working the counter. The whole point of renting National was to BYPASS THE COUNTER and just get into a car and go. After waiting in line for 45 min, we didn’t receive our car for another hour and half!!! They blamed it on having to clean the cars and said it’s like this “everyday”. That is inexcusable. If you have that problem everyday then MAKE A CHANGE. Get more cars. Hire more people to clean. Don’t commit to reservation times online if you know you can’t follow through.

OUTSTANDING RENTAL EXPERIENCE, AS USUAL. I always have a great rental experience with National, and most recently my rental out of Missoula, Montana was especially good. They outfitted me with a nice GMC Yukon, which was in excellent condition and was very clean, and they were very attentive at both pick-up and drop-off, with virtually no wait.
