We went into the dealership on January 25, 2024 with the information for the truck we wanted to purchase. We paid cash for the majority of the amount and our bank knew that any residual amount would be approved by them for a loan. It took us four hours to get this transaction done. The salesman, Jason and the loan officer who was wearing her name tag upside down, so not sure what her name was took forever to get this done. We had all the paperwork we needed there for our trade in and waited and waited for four hours to get this done. Service was terrible. They had no other customers in the entire office. We should never have had to spend that much time to get this transaction done. These people did not know what they were doing, especially Jason. Will never buy from them again. Just hope that if the vehicle we purchased needs to go back in there for some reason that the service will be better. I have very strong doubts about that though. Buyer beware!

My spouse bought a car from them last summer and found out after from the bank we were charged $11,000 over what Kelly blue book priced it for. This was why we avoided dealerships for years

Love this place! As a native of Missoula MT I have seen the Chevrolet business morph from T&W Chevrolet, to Karl Tyler Chevrolet, and after 40 plus years of Karl's guidance and growth with a keen focus on putting the customer FIRST, now it is Missoula Chevrolet, and the excellent customer service continues! The new owners are on sight, and eager to help others. Their vision says it all. "To be so effective we are able to be helpful to others." I'm looking forward to continuing my business with this fine dealership!

Reed Jenkins and my experience with Missoula Chevrolet was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle. Reed was super helpful, very honest, and friendly. The whole transaction, with the financing department went so smooth, she too was very informative, helpful and friendly. I don’t see using another dealership ever.
Thank you Reed!! I love my Acadia!!!

We just bought a car there yesterday. We had a great experience buying from a neighboring state. Jourdan explain everything well & responded quickly to questions. We are very happy with the hard to find vehicle that was priced at msrp when other places were charging $2-$7k over. Also loved that they didn't make us buy other things that we didn't want. Really glad that the whole purchase went so smoothly. Definitely will recommend to family & friends.

100% satisfaction from our sales rep Richard in getting us our Chevy Colorado. He was very eager to help us and really on the ball as far as communication. We highly recommend this dealership and Richard if your looking for a vehicle.

Since my last review, I've been contacted by a Karl Tyler Express Lube manager named Caeden. He apologized for the experience I had and for the fact no one had contacted me sooner. He also listened to me. He asked for a full accounting of what happened so he could proceed appropriately. He conducted himself professionally and assured me--should I return-- something like this would not happen again. He regained my trust sufficiently that I will return to Karl Tyler in the future.

So far my experience with Karl Tyler Chevrolet has been great. I worked with Scott Lake on purchasing a 2021 Denali. His knowledge of the vehicle met my expectations and he was not a "pushy salesman". He provided me everything I asked for and made the process move rather quickly. The other interactions I had with other team members were all positive. Overall 5/5.

Ordered a 2021 Cadillac Escalade on August 5, 2020 from Brennan Skrutvold and gave deposit. After calling and checking for the last 6 months, I got frustrated and called Cadillac. Was told Karl Tyler had cancelled my order. Beware of this company, was told they credited me back a week ago, not true.

I have spent so much money there just to get treated poorly and them not finding problems that my spark was having. I left with a small crack in my windshield and i cant prove they did it. They promised to check my car first thing in the morning so i left it and they forgot to do it They did a brake job and the breaks squeak , of course they say its normal and they do not like my attitude so they will not honor warranty and check car out. why do i pay for onstar which is a gm company when they say they cant use on star codes. they have to charge me so they can run codes. also there were dog feces by the area of picnic tables where you sit to eat or drink. it is worse but if i write it yelp will delete. Dealerships have been a major disappointment ! The store has dead stuffed animals all over the place. it is truly disgusting to see all these dead stuffed animals hanging from the walls and on display. Its like an animal morgue.

I started the buying process online and found that Christy was very prompt in reaching out to me in regards to the vehicle I was looking for. She helped facilitate the process and answered the questions I had immediately. When I scheduled a time to go in, I found myself way ahead of schedule for the day and asked if I could come in earlier than anticipated, to which the staff at Karl Tyler was very accommodating. Once there Cole Franke helped with the next step of the process. I felt he was very clear in explaining everything and carried a friendly demeanor. Overall Karl Tyler Chevrolet made the vehicle buying process an easy one. I spent maybe an hour, hour and a half in total between online shopping and getting approved to then going to the dealership and doing the paperwork and leaving as a happy customer.

I got a letter regarding a recall on my Equinox. They had me leave my car at the shop, get in a shuttle with strangers to drive across town, only to call me less than an hour later and tell me they didn't have the part to fix it. Especially in these times, they should not be subjecting their customers to interactions with strangers unnecessarily. The service department and whoever does their scheduling really should verify that the parts necessary for the repair are ACTUALLY STOCKED instead of wasting people's time. To make matters worse, when I called to schedule them to pick me up to get my car- without any of the scheduled work done- their shuttle driver asks me to "call and remind him".... If your job is to shuttle people to their vehicles, why do I have to call you to remind you of a pickup time? Isn't that what I'm doing when I call to schedule? This is by far some of the worst customer service I've ever had. If it wasn't a factory recall issue, I would never take my car there.

New to town and after taking car to another shop who couldnt fix my water pump in my car. It was suggested that i take my car to " the dealer"Karl Tyler. Agreed to taking car here because there was a factory recall on my ignition. One week later and after checking in a few times when i was told the car should be ready but wasnt. Only part of the work that was completed, not including recall to which mechanic told us was a "key" issue when reality is the ignition was to be replaced. I was over charged by the next highest bid by 300$ and some change. In review of bill it was said that fluids were checked. Does that not include window washing fluid? That was empty in return. No sticker for oil change. The best thing by far was the shuttle driver who was quite delightful!

I would like to THANK Matt Potter at Karl Tyler Chevrolet who provided excellent service. Matt was courteous and patience with me making a decision with buying a vehicle. Once I did decided on a vehicle, Matt made my experience pleasant and smooth. Matt completely follow though on each thing I had requested during this process. I have and would definitely recommend Matt Potter at Karl Tyler to help with anyone who is buying a vehicle.
