Ever since Barnes & Nobles took over things are Way overpriced, they removed items that were functional, they removed local tradesman products and are more limited in functional cost efficient supplies that the book store had before. It’s been ruined. And as of things through the Veterans services weren’t hard enough already to deal with, some how they made it worse.

The staff turned in my lost wallet frok out of state, so they get huge ups! Only taking off a star because the stock on so many supplies was incredibly picked over. I haven't been home in years so I'm not sure what has changed or why, perhaps supply chain stuff.

As others have noted, really not much there these days. They don’t seem to restock the art supply section, they’ve been out of the Sakura fine point pens I like for months with only one or two of other pens. Lots of dust. All they really have is expensive griz clothes for tourists or out-of-stater parents visiting their 18 year old. There is a statute of a cartoon-y looking Monte in there that my daughter is pretty amused by when we do stop in to see if anything is in stock.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I tried calling about a time sensitive matter. Called 3 times an hour before they closed. No answer. I called the next day 5 times. Trying a different department after I wasn’t getting any answers. Finally after calling merchandise 3 of those 5 times I finally got an answer. I asked about a book to which they told me the book department was with another customer. Not a big deal, they asked for the book name and phone number so I could get a call back. Four hours later I finally get a call back just to find out the person I had talked to had literally just written down my number. Even after asking me the book title so he could write it down. They’re always doing the bare minimum at the um bookstore. And the guy (short and blonde with glasses) who’s usually there is unbelievably rude. I’ve seen many reviews mentioning him being just as rude to others. Whoever manages this store needs to have a serious talk with him about not only how to do his job but how to talk to customers in general.

Never again. Ordered online, it was canceled. They said my card didn’t work, also that there were no used books left. Why are they available online then?

Just wanted to thank everyone at the store for being so kind to me,And i ended up returning the book that I purchased instead of the book that I rented on accident somehow. They did not judge and I needed that bad,I looked in the mirror when I got into the car and was so embarrassed,Every-time ive needed someone to be kind or helpful because I was lost or had a lot of questions; The bookstore was always there to helpAgain I am so sorry for the mixup and looking wretched, thank you for not judging :-(

It was okay. There are a lot of merchandise when it comes to apparel. The customer service at the bookstore was good, but I ordered a book and kept going to back and they never even put an order in for it. They didn't have my books in time for my class. So I probably won't go there again for my books.

When I was a freshman, this store had everything I could have needed, at an upcharged but still reasonable price. Now, it's not even worth checking out. Don't expect your books to be in stock, you'll go a semester without them if you do. The art section, despite once supplying the large fine art program on campus, is now mostly empty. You can't even buy colored cardstock any more. Unless you want to spend loads of money on apparel or tech, don't bother.

Really nice gift shop/school supplies store they have a lot of non related stuff like speakers and video game controllers which is nice as for spirit wear they have almost anything you can think of and most are resonable in terms of price which is nice but I would make sure there are no other cheaper options before you buy

A good spot for pens/notebooks and all your textbooks. Plus Ellis was really helpful during a stressful time!

Amanda (The Manager) and Ellis (Sales Associate) was very rude to me over the phone when I was trying to process what entirely was going on with my Book Ordered Cancellation. As the Busy Single College student I am, figuring out life they’ve made me feel very uncomfortable with there tones and attitude towards me when I tried to explain my perspective with the money that I am spending at that Store. I will no longer be ordering my books from the University unless it’s super necessary.I ordered my books back in December before classes even begun in January to be better prepared because I am passionate about being successful in college. The bookstore was supposed to fulfill my order in full at that time, and my credit cards was accepted at that time in December for those books, it even charged the 100 to 200 dollars for those books. So with respect and dignity I waited for them to notify me that my books would be in order fulfilled. I got an email this last week, two weeks before classes even begin stating “my order was cancelled because they couldn’t get two books for some reason” that reason having nothing to do with what I can control. So they didn’t charge my credit card and without further explanation on the phone sent all my books back to where ever they get them. Doing this a week before classes. Now I am stuck with the acceptance I need to rebuy without really knowing if I’m getting my money back.I also am very confused and totally offended on the way these people spoke to me over the phone when I asked why? The explained to me like I was a small a child who doesn’t know English and being a person of color, gets greatly offended when a white woman chooses to use her professional as an accuse to blame a customer for there mistakes. I may be just a student, but I’m also a human being and I work for my money and don’t it being stolen! Now I am stuck with waiting on them to process my book order a week before classes. To anyone reading this I will recommend reaching out to your professors and asking them of course materials can be ordered on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles before doing any sort of business with this organization. And if absolutely have to get a book, go into the store that day with cash and get it and leave. To avoid being treated the way I’ve been treated.I am so upset and totally lost faith in the trust that these people want to see students actually achieve.I get it Covid season or whatever but you don’t need to yell at me and act if I’m totally ignorant on the phone. Thank you!
