My experience with Strand St. Uhaul was turn key! Needing a last minute solution for my move they provided a truck, mattress covers and bubble wrap with in store options for any other moving need I had. The rental process and return process were easy and pleasant with kind professional help. I recommend using this business. Thank you Strand St. UHaul!

This place was top notch in every aspect. Employees were fantastic - super helpful and friendly. It was clean and had everything we needed for a move at reasonable prices. Highly highly recommend.

On September of 2022, I sold my house in Frenchtown. My friend and I had to get a U-haul truck. The woman behind the desk with dark black hair (I think her name was Kayla), would not listen to us and was very rude to us. We have tried to explain we need a 26ft u-haul for my stuff at my house. So, my friend could help me to move as he knows how to drive a u-haul. She told us the one 26ft was already taken. She did not explain to us about the other 2 that was there. She tried to force us to get a trailer to hook up our cars and we tried to explained that we do not have hatches to hook up our cars. I don't think she ever moved before! How can we put all of my appliances and furniture into a small trailer? She goes, "What part of NO don't you understand?" My friend snapped at her and flipped her off and walked off and I walked off as well. It felt like were treated like a little kids on the way she talked to him. We were embarrass as there were other customers there. So, my friend called the u-haul behind Walmart and Trish (I think) was a sweetheart and helped us to get the 26ft truck and with no issues from her. Thanks goodness! I work at a retail store and that is one thing you don't do to treat customers like dirt. She pushed our buttons to far. Won't come back to that u-haul on strand. So, my friend called the u-haul behind Walmart and Trish (I think) was a sweetheart and she listen to us on why we need a u-haul. No problems with her and she helped us to get the 26ft truck and with no issues from her. Thanks goodness!

No stars complete bad service from Ronan MT to corporate. I ate 200 miles, 5 hours and 280 in gas because they couldn't change dropp off location. Messed up my reserve and not a call about changing time and location. Didn't ask for a discount just a dropp off location change. Ruined my weekend snd plans. Thank you for meeting me half way :-(

This place and the staff here are amazing! Even when crazy busy, they were friendly, efficient, and helpful! From help over the phone, to rescheduling pick up(s) tohooking up the dolly we rented. The staff here was the high point of an OVERLY stressful move. Thank you again!

Extremely short brunette female. Drive can away while I was still checking it in. I never got to finish with the trailer. Explained the oil ticking sound and she said it's normal. It is Not. Next customer will prob blow the engine. Just effing rude. Nasty attitude. High in something.

They didn't have working equipment to give me. I had to drive their 10mpg truck to Darby and back to get a working trailer. Employees are incompetent, especially the word when you talk to the other stores.

I would not return to this location for future UHaul rentals nor recommend to others. I returned my UHaul after hours, but was incorrectly charged an extra day (I called to clarify charges and they refunded me).Additionally, there is a $20 after hours charge if you don't self-return through their phone app. No representative communicated this to me during any point of our reservation so this was a surprise charge.When I called them to inquire about extended our reservation they told me to look it up myself on the app. Overall disappointed in the abundance of "self-serve" options in place of real customer service.

My reservation moved here from the place I normally go to and trust so I was running late as it was. Was told it was the truck on the end so had to go back in when it wasn't, it was the truck parked so tightly between two other trucks that you had to pull the mirrors in to back out. Got a exasperated look when I went back in to ask them to back it out. Started checking out on the app and the plates didn't match, went back in, was told that it didn't matter. They had parked it blocking all traffic in the lot and I was running way late while also knowing I was going to get stuck in rush hour traffic because of the changed reservation so rushed the checkout and never noticed the fuel was way off so that was a costly surprise when I was checking back in. Absolutely terrible experience at this location. Next time will cancel rather than picking up from this location if my reservation gets moved again.

Good service except my husband who is a veteran did not get the veteran's discount promised at check-in. When we returned the truck, the bill showed no discount and there was nothing the man who checked the truck could do about it.

READ ALL THE RECENT 1 STAR REVIEWS !!! This is a Uhaul Corporate Store not a local franchisee! Don't go to the Strand location to rent go to one of the locals on Google maps. This Corp store will throw your "reservation " to the wind and laugh at you from behind the counter. Told me to go 120 miles to Butte to pickup my 10 day in advance 4X8 trailer reservation."We don't guarantee you can pick up your trailer where you reserve it " . Drugs these days in the work place is all I can say.

Very poor experience due to inefficient communication and a dysfunctional system. We weren't informed about pickup locations until literally last minute, resulting in us to having to reschedule our moving crew and causing us to have to drive an extensive amount of time to pick up the Uhual truck and towdolly. We thought Uhual had a more professional system in place for picking up equipment because we were told so when making reservations, but we learned otherwise. This drastically effected us causing us to cram into our already busy move out day and causing us to miss out on mealtimes and waste a lot of time and money on gas. If Uhual is going to improve from their current standpoint, its communication and their system that needs a few things changed.

Worst experience I've ever had. I made a reservation with Uhual about 2 weeks prior to when I needed it. This reservation included a 15' Uhual truck and a tow dolly. When the day came to pick up the Uhual truck and tow dolly, it wasnt at the lot. Uhual made me drive to Hamilton, which is about an hour away from Missoula, to pick up the Uhual truck. Then I had to drive all the way over to Drummond to pick up the tow dolly. I called and discussed how this is absolutely ridiculous and they tried to offer $50 to cover costs of driving. The $50 may seem nice. But the bad part is that the uhual truck only gets about 10 MPG(miles per gallon). The distance I have to drive in the uhual, not including my personal vehicle to and from Hamilton, is about 150 miles. That is about 15 gallons of gas, which in turn is about $60, lots of my time wasted and money I had to pay for gas for my personal vehicle, which was about 100 miles worth. I would not recommend using the Uhual in Missoula as they are very uncoordinated.
