Went to open an account, was told there were 3 employees available to help and it should just be a minute. I can see all 3 employees from the waiting room, one left for lunch, one was helping someone else but the 3d guy was free when an old lady comes in walks into his office and says she left her glasses, maybe, at this bank yesterday. He says lets go look for them in the foyer. Really? Then they go into the foyer and talk and talk and talk. The guy who was helping someone else came over to assure me someone would be with me soon and I pointed to the foyer and told him what was going on. I said I couldnt wait much longer, the pair in the foyer continued to talk when I finally left. So I tried to call them today to see if I could get my questions answered and get this message "bankers are not available to take phone calls." Clearwater CC on the other hand actually answered the phone and helped me out.

ATMS never accepting deposits. Always charging fees for unknown things. Employees yap yap yap about online services and delay what I'm there for. Useless bank.

I've been with Wells Fargo a long time. I have my words with them about every six months or so give or take. Unfortunately I can't leave a review on corporate, otherwise I would so as to not leave this location specifically a bad review. This week has been my deal breaker though. I wrote a post dated check. The company I wrote the check to understood & agreed they wouldn't deposit the check until the day it was dated as I wouldn't have all of the funds available until that date... I even included a late fee because I had to post date it. Well the company I wrote the check to went ahead & deposited the post dated check. Wells Fargo not only allowed them to push it through, but turns out when FINALLY I actually get a answer, Wells Fargo completely supports this practice. Before getting that answer, I explained my problem to a gal and before getting my account info or anything put my on hold, then hung up on me. I call back & get Robin.. that's all she would give me. She didn't understand what a post dated check was, she didn't know what a memo line on a check was. I asked to speak to someone else & she told me no. She then asked me to explain again & I said no, I'd like to talk to someone else. Robin again said no & then asked for my account info to see if she could help. At this point I'm mad at her, I've already been hung up on & I again ask to speak to someone else because she obviously doesn't understand & I don't want to continue with her. Robin again told me no. I then told her I was about to hang up, call right back, get someone else & there was nothing she could do about it. So I did & got Stephanie. Kudos to Stephanie! She knows how to work a phone, she understood common terms referring to checks & she had great customer service skills even though I was shocked to learn that Wells Fargo says as soon as you sign it, it's legal tender. I thank her, inform her I was depositing the cash that day on my way to work to cover the almost $200 I was overdrafted because of this. I deposited the cash only to learn Wells Fargo had then added a $35 overdraft fee. I then spend after work on the phone with them & after finally getting passed off to a supervisor, got the overdraft fee reversed "only because they could see i don't overdraft". They can SEE the check, SEE the date, SEE the memo! If I write a check knowing the funds aren't there, I get fines & jail time... if someone cashes your post dated check early KNOWING the funds aren't there AND Wells Fargo SEES I don't have enough in my account on top of everything else & STILL pushes it through... I STILL GET PUNISHED, NOT THEM!!! Yet if I go to get $20 worth of gas & it'll overdraft me by 10 cents, they'll decline it! If you bring a post dated check into a branch to cash, they'll turn you away until the date the check is written for! Terrible customer service!!! Especially for a long time customer!!! Terrible policies that do NOT protect the people that bank with them!!! I'm done!!!

Okay, the stuff that happened 3 years ago, wow. But those people got fired & it looks like new staff is working here! Moving on! I had to go to the bank today to get some stuff taken care of. I kind of wanted to go here just because they have 1-star. Wanted to see what all the hype was about! Anyway, I got treated very kindly, with respect & dignity. Location is prime, staff are ALL friendly! I got very simple directions on what to do & the gal working was very nice! So here's your 5 Stars! Thank you for treating me so kind.

If Wells Fargo was the last bank on earth I would burn every cent I had and live in a cardboard box before I banked with them again. Especially this branch. NO CONSISTENCY WHATSOEVER. I rate them -50 stars. Still thinking about banking here? Don't do it!!!

Nothing but great service and attentive staff. Just as local as the local banks. Very happy with this branch. I enjoy doing business with them.

Every single person at this place should be fired. They will sign you up for things you refuse. Credit card applications, unauthorized credit checks, new and existing account opening and closing just so they can make numbers and get a couple extra bucks for themselves. It's maddening to have low level managers lie through their teeth while all while maintaining the quota. After several confrontations I closed my accounts and will never do business with these crooks again. UPDATE: Weeks after I posted this review, Wells Fargo fired 5300 people after they were investigated for this exact scenario.
