I suggest anywhere but here. I have dealt with the medical center and the LTC unit and both are inadequate. Communication is zero and their billing department needs a overhaul.

As a Traveling CNA you really do deal with "Them All". This particular facility was operated as every other facility with their differences, but at the end of shift I'd go back. The town is amazing!

Ashley Westphalia is a dangerous narcissist. She is in bed with the pharmaceutical companies and will tell you you have an illness and than prescribe medications with copays in the 1,000.00 range. Her ineptitude and misdiagnosis has caused me to lose my home, my marriage and my wellbeing. Because of her arrogant incompetence I live alone in poverty. Stay away from this incompetence narcissist.

I had to make an early morning trip to the ER while on vacation in Philipsburg (I had fallen the night before and injured my knee). I received prompt, professional care from Yolanda (the ADON) and Ashley (the nurse practitioner). They had me back on my way in no time. Highly recommended this facility!! Thank you again, ladies!!

My older sister Kathy is a resident at Granite County Medical Center. I recently drove from my home in Oregon to spend some time with her recently. I arrived unannounced and found her with the cutest hairdo I've ever seen. Her fingernails were painted beautifully and she had on a real cute outfit we had purchased for her some time ago. Kathy was clean and well cared for. She was happy and had a hug for all her caretakers. We grew up in P-burg and know many of the people both residents and care providers. I remember a time when there wasn't any place for the elderly and those needing assisted living. I say well done Philipsburg on taking care of your people. I've seen a few nursing homes and I only hope when my time comes I too can go to Granite County Nursing Home.

Wow, Sue F. I'm sorry you had such a negative encounter with the wonderful staff at the Granite County Nursing home. These people go above and beyond when caring for my mother. Every time I visit Mom, she says, "The people are so nice here." Dr. Terry is such a kind, thorough man; always keeping me informed of my mom's health issues. He is genuinely concerned and wants what's best for my mom. The only reason I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 is it's not a super fancy place; however, it's the people who count the most. Thank you, Granite County staff, for all that you do!
