We were passing by and stumbled upon this gem! We had the shrimp scampi, tenderloin special with grilled brussel sprouts and cauliflower on a savory sauce, and the soup flight. My husband usually doesn't like veggies and he ate it up! The dishes were all very beautifully presented and super delicious! The staff was also very personable and friendly. We were glad we stopped by - what a great dining experience!

service was great but food was not. prime rib Thursday was cold prime rib bland spaghetti squash and roasted potatoes that needed ketchup on the side. took home a to go box and will cook the prime rib tomorrow eating some left overs tonight

Prime rib night sold out by 5:30, with beef reserved for other customers not yet at the restaurant. Despite us inquiring at 4pm about needing reservations, and being told "no reservations, show up before 5:30"Arrived at 5:15 but waited for a table for 10+ minutes without even being acknowledged by the bartender, who was within 5ft of us multiple times. A simple "be with you in a minute" would go a long way. Other customers entering after us left.

I ordered a Bayern Helles and sirloin steak, mash, and veggies. The waitress asked me if I wanted to upgrade the sirloin cut to a picanha cut for a bit more. It was topped with some chive flowers sauteed in butter, and it was delicious. I plan to grow some chives so I can try to make this at home.My veggie child got the pepper jack garden cheesburger, and fries. They were very happy, and finished their food, before starting to nibble on my mash and veggies.It was a little slow, which I think is great. I had time to quiz the waitress about the ingredients (I thought the steak was topped with garlic blossoms, not chive blossoms), and spent some time talking to the (I'm guessing) owner about the selection of gins and tequilas.I have some gins and tequilas to buy now.Vegetarian options: There is a garden burger, two different shrimp pasta dishes, and several lacto appetizers.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu. It's not huge, but most kids will find something they like. If not, get them an appetizer.

The staff and locals are very friendly and helpful.The shrimp Alfredo was yummy and the old time mining and city history was fascinating. Very authentic experience.

Understaffed. My family and I stood watching the single bartender and waitress for 5-10 minutes waiting to be seated. They never even addressed us - obviously specifically ignored us. I empathize - I used to work in a restaurant - but you can't just ignore weary travelers at your door. Not a real restaurant.

We had the best flat iron steak and wontons. Absolutely delicious preparation of the steak. Will return for sure! The husband and wife that run it are so nice and welcoming.
