I really enjoyed the pool , one was hotter than the other if someone wants hotter or cooler they have a choice. They have a cafe off of the pool to get bugers and ice cream. They also have a saloon by the pool area. Inside they have games and books you can use. They also have a nice restaurant but you have to make sure you make a reservation. The prices are higher but for one night special occasion the food was good and they offer a breakfast buffet for 18 a person which had good food choices ( the caramel rolls were delicious ) they have a gift shop in another building and horseback riding and other adventure things to do in the summer months ,most everyone was nice and pleasant but I was frustrated that the employees didn't know alot about other things the resort offered. Like prices of the horseback rides ( and the lady I talked to was rude ) or what's on the buffet , the time the gift shop was open...I just feel if you work there you should know those things but overall setting that aside and the very rude front clerk We really enjoyed it and would recommend it. We stayed in a cabin but there are alot of other options too.

I would equate photographing weddings here to winning the lottery. Montana at its absolute best: big sky, the best color palette, and a background that rivals all beauty. There is no greater place to host your family and friends, there is so much to do, amenities all-around, an immersive experience that will leave you imbued in wonder. Every time I am here I am blown away, the history, the rooms, facilities, and food are all fantastic. Looking forward to many more years of photographing here and continuing to find fascination in all this place has to offer.

Because the bar is such a big part of the Chico Hot Springs facility, the spring pool felt more like a college spring break than being at a relaxing spa. Almost everyone in the hot pool had a drink and was loud and obnoxious. The facilities are poorly maintained and scrappy.

I was there over Thanksgiving break with the family and this was my favorite hot springs. I originally thought I wouldn't like only having 2 pools but it turned out great! The grounds also had a restaurant and a bar that you can order from. I really enjoyed having a drink while I was in the pools. Such a big plus! These pools actually got drained often to be cleaned due to the high amount of minerals that are in the water. So so nice. This is why you go to a hot spring vs. a gym hot tub. I plan to return

Always a great place to soak, eat good food and stay at for a weekend! We've been coming to Chico for years to vacation and get away for a while! Family friendly as well!

We come here every year around Thanksgiving for a few days to enjoy the hot springs, relax at the day spa (I recommend the morning sun citrus scrub w/massage), and play in the snow. Be sure to make a dinner reservation prior to your stay. It often books up quickly - try the beef wellington, it's amazing!

Got up early one morning and went to the hot springs. Definitely recommend this fun and cozy thing to do. Went back another night for dinner, we all had steaks and they were to die for. Also checked out the saloon and it was hopping. An amazing wine cellar! A+++-

There are extra charges that were put on my card without permission. I was traveling cross country to visit friends and we stopped at Chicos hot springs to enjoy the healing water. First I will say, we enjoyed ourselves and had a lovely time. Though it was a little overcrowded. We found a lounge chair we could share. Need more seating area around here. The ice cream was really good, my friend had a cocktail. I'm really confused about the entry fee. I thought it was $12 dollars per person. But there is a $44 dollar charge on my card. When we arrived The girl with the braids was nice to my friend who wanted to order a drink, but for some odd reason very ignorant and dismissive to me. All three of us put our credit cards on the counter to pay for entry. The girl suggested my friend open a tab cause she wanted to buy a drink. Then She grabbed MY card, didn't even say hello to me or my other friend, put a tab on my card and charged my card $44 dollars, and a separate $8.00 is also on my statement. She also took my friends cards too and charged her for the drink. How much is the entry fee? Why did you charge my card $44 and not the other girls is beyond me. I never said I was paying for the whole group. I put my card up to pay for ONE entry fee, never even agreed to a "tab". BUT then at the end when I asked the girl with braids if she had my card open on the account, she acted like she never took my card. I tried to remind her that she took my card and opened an account. The girl raises her voice, "I didn't take your card!" Wo! Relax! Yikes! I just got out of the healing water I am not feeling this absurd vibe she is putting off. Are you serious? Aren't I supposed to sign something? She was really just aggressive and RUDE.. telling me she didn't have the card when I'm trying to explain she took my card in the beginning and had my account open. It's all about your tone lady that can put someone in a bad mood. Now it was like a mission for me to help her remember cause I know I'm not crazy and I know I gave HER my card and she's trying to say it never happened so either she's delusional or it's the hot water getting to me. She finally bothered to check and lo and behold, she DID indeed have my card open on her register. She DID take my card. She's just rude. Then I showed her that she charged me for the other girls and she rolled her eyes and said "I think you can figure it out and Venmo $12 dollars to each other." WOW. Instead of being rude and yelling at me, you could have some patience. You should have just refunded my card and charged us each individually but being it was such a process to communicate with her peaceably, I was done. She told me she has over 600 tabs to look over and she doesn't remember everyone.. are you rude to any of them? Her comments were unnecessary, you could have just apologized for the misunderstanding, charge us all properly for what we spent and diffuse the problem. I know you don't remember me because you didn't even look at me or say hello when you snatched my card. I just don't understand why you charged me $44, instead of $36 for 3.. did you add a tip? Cause I know I def didn't give you one!!!! $44 dollars, which is more than the amount for the entry fee. I'm guessing the extra $8.00 charge was for ice cream. But why is there a $44 AND an $8 charge? The girl with long braids) charged my friend for her drink separately, and perhaps charged me for her drink and three entries. I'm not sure. My advice for people coming here is don't "open a tab"with your credit card open on the bartenders register as they can add whatever they want to it, and then yell at you when you ask them to close it. Then you get home to find more charges than you spent there. There was no need for her to argue with me and to raise her voice at me very confrontational and she said others had the same misunderstanding with her. Perhaps some training is needed so there are no misunderstand

We stayed in a cabin on the lower 40. Loved the hammock outside. Enjoyed the hot spring pool. Dinner in the dining room was wonderful and our server, Brittany, was wonderful- get the flaming orange.

This review is for the hot spring not the hotel. The hot spring is a 2 section swimming pool that was reported to be 106°F but the mid September afternoon we visited it was just warm. Ok to relax for a while and $12 each wasn't too bad but we have been to far nicer springs that had more of a spa feeling.
