God forbid that you should ever need customer service from these jokers. They send your call to the Philippines to be addressed by someone reading from a script. Totally worthless. Zero stars would be more appropriate.

Company was great to work with when we opened our account 2.5 years ago. We worked with a local office back then, great people. However they must have been bought up, AmeriGas filled up our tank regularly automatically for around $ 1.19 up and down a bit. With out any notice AmeriGas started charging us double ($4.019) of the going rate wich is around ($2.00 +-). The customer service has been moved to oversees and we could not get any resolution or a local office to call us back. Very very frustrated.

Foreign customer service, can’t understand what they’re saying, and they can’t understand what I’m saying…. And I have nothing, but it’s the upmost respect for people who speak multiple languages and I know they’re just trying to make a living in their respective countries (it’s not their fault), but this is supposed to be an American company who used to have American customer service, who then outsourced their customer service, I assume, to save a buck…In summary, less than acceptable experience.

If I could give them zeros stars, I absolutely would. They have been horrible to work with and have constantly gone back on what other representatives have said. I have spent 3 hours on the phone with them this week alone. Their representatives claim to add notes into your file and instruct you to call another department and either drop the call or give you the wrong number. Upon getting ahold of the correct department, they cannot see any notes or instructions. Ultimately, a massive waste of my time. Also, their prices are astronomical this year. 0/10 do not recommend.

We have tried to contact them for a propane refill 3 times this week with the same result. An hour of holding with no answer and never calling back.
