Pet Care
Burnt Fork Veterinary Clinic
3682 Eastside Highway, StevensvilleWe will forever be thankful for Dr. Linda Kauffman and her team. We had the very unfortunate diagnosis of congenital megaesophagus in our 10 week old puppy who was failing to thrive. After seeking a couple evaluations that left us confused, we consulted with Dr Linda who was honest with us that our Trout’s diagnosis would lead to recurrent issues of aspiration pneumonia, surgeries, and for many reasons would ultimately cause a poor quality of life for our boy. We made the difficult decision to say goodbye, and her team made this transition as easy as possible. She has also helped our older boy Dozer in the past with an odd skin infection he picked up at the river, and was very patient while he was less than cooperative with getting shaved. We have since moved further north but we will always make the trip here for our pup’s care💙

Bitterroot Pet Palace
4054 US-93, StevensvilleLet me start off by saying I chose this boarding facility because of the reviews and a kennel tour I took with Sara.
Recently we had our malamutes boarded for the first time at Bitterroot Pet Palace. The care they received from Sara and her team during their stay was well worth it. One of my girls accidentally cut the other while they were playing (typical spot for my girls as they love to roughhouse). Sara communicated with me right away, sent pictures, explained everything clearly, and asked how I wanted to proceed.
Since it didn’t appear to be an emergency, I asked her to just keep an eye on it, and she went above and beyond by offering to trim the hair around the area and apply antiseptic twice a day. One of my dogs also started blowing her coat during the stay, and Sara took the time to brush her regularly, which I really appreciated.
My girls came home happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. I’m very thankful for the prompt communication, transparency, and level of care she showed throughout their stay and would absolutely trust Sara with my dogs again.
Fast forward, it’s been almost a week and she followed up on the girls to make sure the cut was healing as it should. I’d say that deserves a 6th star.

On Command Dog Obedience Training
4010 Wakantanka Way, StevensvilleGary is a great trainer. He is very through in his methods of teaching and relays his knowledge through great communication with the handler and canine.
I called 2 local Bitterroot trainers and emailed them with NO RESPONSE back....
I called On Command and instantly booked a consult within 2 days we had him come to our home and analyze our situation. PROMPT and loaded with a wealth of information for us.
We booked Obedience classes with him and had our first session with him yesterday.
He gives you pamphlets with ALL step by step guidelines to follow (very helpful) a list of training equipment, his training philosophy (whats expected of you) and email follow ups!
TOP NOTCH TRAINER you will not be at all disappointed and classes are extremely affordable.
