Camp Sula is a quiet and peaceful RV park and campground located along the creek and the East Fork of the Bitterroot River. It offers level sites with fire pits, tables, and hookups for RVs and trailers, including a dump station. The campground is known for being very clean, with spotless bathrooms and great showers. It is considered a great little campground and a perfect place to pause. The on-site general store is stocked with snacks, beer, wine, drinks, camping supplies, and basics, and gas is available. The restaurant offers great food and friendly service. The staff and caretakers are super friendly, accommodating, and professional. For recreation, the camp provides premier fishing access to the river, where many have good luck catching fish. There is also a fishing pond for kids. Other features include a mini-golf course and direct access to a forest road for ATV riding. It is a great location for nearby activities like hiking, exploring, hunting, and skiing, with the town of Darby and historic sites close by. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, offering a wonderful way to enjoy the fresh air and stars of the Bitterroot Valley.
We found and booked this campground through Hipcamp. The host’s communications were excellent. Our site was perfect for our camper van. The bathroom facilities were very clean and in very good condition. The hot water and water pressure were the best we’ve had on our journey. Beautiful campground! We stayed here with some friends and were all impressed. It is the cleanest campground I’ve ever stayed in. The landscaping is perfectly tended to. Just the right amount of sun and shade. Lovely store with anything you need including Montana gifts. Definitely coming back.
