If you visit GNP and Western Montana, make this a priority experience for you and your family! Ora and Irene have created something very special with their horse drawn wagon/sleigh rides. We had such a fun time winding our way through the forest sharing good conversation with Ora. The horses are well mannered and create such a pleasant experience, and their dog is so cute! The meal served by Irene was so delicious in a cozy, warm tent. We loved meeting them and are so grateful for their wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend visiting Cripple Creek- it was by far our favorite experience here on our trip!!

Our family of three had a wonderful time at the Cripple Creek Ranch. The chuck wagon ride was fun; the hosts couldn’t be more personable or welcoming; and the meal was delicious. Prepare to fall in love with Spike the Australian Shepherd as well. Highly recommend a visit for a unique experience!

If you are looking for a fun adventure for the family we highly recommend Cripple Creek Ranch. We went on a wagon ride and our granddaughter was able to drive the horses for part of the ride (this made her day). We arrived at the tent in the woods for a bit of fun with the kids learning to lasso a “steer” and then enjoyed a delicious meal. When we got back home the grandchildren said “Grandma can we do that again”, that said it all.

Our family had a wonderful experience! Our hosts provided an amazing, personalized, interactive adventure. The ride was a blast, and the food was fantastic. We’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting the West Glacier or Teton area!

My family took a chuckwagon ride and had a delicious dinner! As soon as we arrived, we were amazed by the views and welcoming nature of our hosts. Ora and Irene were welcoming of our questions and made the experience unforgettable! And of course we all loved hanging out with their dog, Spike. Thank you for a wonderful ride and an amazing summer evening!

I would highly recommend this sleigh ride. It was so beautiful. The owners were extremely friendly and easy going. We went at 4pm which was nice because you got to experience the ride in both day light and night.

Irene and Ora are THE BEST hosts!! Our time with them was absolutely LOVELY. Our horses, Angel and Allie, were amazing, and we were led by Spike, the Australian shepherd, along our path through the magical Montana forest. We were fortunate enough to have been joined by 4 of the grandchildren (Emma, Kip, Huck and Carson), which just added to the richness of our experience! The warm fire in the woods after our sleigh ride was 🔥🔥🔥, followed by a delicious dinner and wonderful conversation in a warm tent. Seriously, we had the most amazing time!! Our only regret was that it had to come to an end!!! Thank you, Ora and Irene!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

4 of us greatly enjoyed the private sleigh ride and dinner in the heated enclosed camp site. The horses were well trained, the ride was relaxing and unique, and most of all the host family and their grandsons were a pleasure to be with. Fully endorse their operation as an enjoyable time and good value for the money.

We had an exceptional time on the sleigh ride at the Cripple Creek Horse Ranch. The folks there are wonderful hosts and exceptional people. The experience included riding in a sleigh pulled by two beautiful horses, campfire, a sledding hill for kids, to an awesome dinner of ribs, baked beans, salad, green bean casserole, and great PIE served in a wall tent and cooked on a wood stove! We all had a great experience which we truly enjoyed. I would give our experience at Cripple Creek my highest recommendation.

Super nice people! Very authentic 'through the woods' sleigh ride! Amazing hot meal in a mess tent in the middle of the woods! It was our second time out and I'd highly recommend it!

Great people and great food! My family had a fantastic time and we enjoyed it very much! We did the sleigh ride a few years ago and did the dinner sleigh ride this time. Cannot wait to do this again!

The owners are very welcoming and willing to answer all of the questions we had. Everything was on time. The horses are friendly and willing to take photos with the kids. The refreshment break was perfectly timed and gave the kids a chance sled, build a snowman and run around. Great cookies too. We would absolutely recommend to friends. This was the highlight of the vacation for the kids (teenagers!).
