Beautiful views, uncrowded. Best to try to go in the morning due to afternoon wind. Prairie dogs and raptors!

A must-see destination when in the Great Falls, Montana area. It's fascinating, educational and enjoyable to see in real time what our Native American friends had to endure to provide food and other things to sustain life on the prarie, with primary focus on the buffalo population. You don't want to miss this great stop!Restrooms: Immaculate.Dog-friendliness: Yes.Picnic area: Great outdoor time between picnics and hiking, and browsing through the museum and store, and speaking with the friendly and knowledgeable staff there.

So much history here. It's such an amazing place. My daughter took me there and you can feel the energy of the past there.

This was a chance to gain a better understanding of the First Nations People and how they lived. The exhibit was interesting and informative. Walking up to the jump point provided an additional experience

Very helpful and informative staff at visitor center. For those individuals that know nothing about a way of life for Native Americans, recommend the visitor center displays. Road to actually jump site is crushed rock.

Take yourself back in time with this amazing site which was so important to the early people's of this region. A great trail around and up to the jump site. Small but thorough exhibits inside and very knowledgeable staff. Bring your sunscreen and water on the hike - there is no cover out there on the prairie!

Good interpretive/visitors centre provides background information on site. You can gat to the top either walking (3miles round trip) or short car journey. Staff super friendly. $8 fee for non Montana residents.

Was a great place to see. The welcome center had a lot of information about it. It was insane seeing where the Buffalo would run too. Nice walk up to the cliffs. we spent about 1 1/2 hours there. I think it was worth the trip to learn about the Indians used to hunt before horses

First time there since the name change from Ulm-Pishkin State Park. Some nice visitor center improvements.

This state park gets relatively little attention, and it's very low key and simple. But very pleasant in its own way. This is prairie country, with buttes all around, and the Rocky Mountains in the background. Small visitor center with very cordial staff. A hiking trail that goes across the prairie to the top of a butte where Indians once drove bison off the cliff as a hunting method. Lots of quiet, open space. Some tipis. Occasionally, programs.

Amazing place for a hike. Displays could use serious updates and editing in order to center tribal voices and lived experiences/present a real, accurate history - but the visitor center at least does highlight the Tribes within modern day Montana and the significance bison have played and continue to play in Native life.
