Could not find out who the local dealer was to tell them they needed a key to gate. Was offered propane @ $1.81. using secret phrase-was billed $1.88 - draft was taken at that time-15 day to delivery and charged $2 more ?? Was told delivery would be Monday or Tuesday-left gate unlocked-it came a week later. Called many times and was put on hold 17 minutes. Hard to understand agents. Price was ok but it was frustrating

Due to incorrect processing of my account, by phone last month to get into "Amerilock", I had to renew it again with a different result than originally promised. I am on a fixed income and a payment was not processed correctly. I was charged a late fee and told I could not get on a monthly payment now. I had noticed the agreed amount of $99.00 had not been taken out by autopay...which I had planned for. I called the officed and spent 30 minutes on the phone tryin to explain the issue and that I could pay and correct otday. I am not waiting for a call back on this.

Your customer service is horrid. No local contacts. Called multiple times and was promised delivery within 24 hours. 8 days out I received. We are on top off service and you were grossly delayed. My house went into a freeze. Cannot figure out how to contact you or even leave your service.Driver (once they came) were kind.

After speaking with numerous people and being denied a manager, I’ve closed my account. Even though I have full records and accounts of who I’ve spoke with, it didn’t seem to matter to those I spoke with. After taking the bulk amount of money from my account; after being promised I’d have a payment plan ( since being on a limited income ); and messing up my wife, kids, and I food & rent payments I do not see how I could possibly go forward with your service. I truly hope others have better luck in the future and there is better training within your structured teams.

DO NOT USE AMERIGAS.Their prices are much higher than you can get elsewhere, and their customer service is terrible. I've called to cancel three times, and each time they say they have no record of me trying to cancel. It's maddening to deal with them. Do anything you can to avoid working with this company.

Please whatever you do do NOT use Amerigas for your propane!!! They promise the moon when you sign up but in the end can't deliver. You will NEVER speak with someone "in the office" if there is an issue. You speak with a foreign call center. Even the employees that work for them (drivers) are so disgruntled they speak poorly of thier own company. There are too many things that have happened to list...believe me this is a company that takes you down the rabbit hole. NO customer service.

I rarely post reviews. However; this one is well worth my time. AmeriGas is absolutely THE worst customer service I have ever experienced! Living in Montana, we rely on our Propane. This company shows up when they want to (if ever) gives you the complete run-around, excuses for not showing up for scheduled deliveries AND blames YOU the customer for their horrible communication! I finally have had enough. I went with another Propane provider and I was so excited to call AmeriGas and tell them to come pick up their Fu&&$ing tank!!!!! Save yourself the headache, do use AmeriGas!!!!

They took an unauthorized payment from my account after i had already made a payment. Told me it would be returned within 3 days, after 3 days, no return. Called back said no return was on file. Then was told they resubmitted my return and it would be back in my account in 9 days. After 10 days, called back because, still no return in my account and they said they had no record of a return. This place is a joke. I miss the days when I could call and speak to someone who lived local.

Very slow service. The delivery guy was nice and not to be blamed. They're simply under employed. They also charged me $149.99 for a propane tank rental removal. I have my own tank. Months passed, I contacted them repeatedly, and they not only continue to send bills, but they attached late fees and threatened collection. Not good. I switched to Energy Partners. They're more responsive and better staffed. I believe their prices are better, too.

I am the neighbor of an Amerigas customer. When she had a propane leak they refused to come and repair or fill or switch her tank in - 14 degree weather after the fire department switched it off until repair. My husband spend 2 days on the phone with them, and they refused to pay the overtime for the serviceman. So now that we got the neighbor switched to a different gas company with a new tank because the other company is wonderful... AMERIGAS has left the empty large tank sitting in the yard between our two houses. They have not come to get it and it's been almost 3 weeks. Such terrible terrible services. Glad they don't get my money

I called the local number ( Victor Montana) to ask a simple question about installation of new propane heater. After a few minutes of talking to a recording, finally got to talk to a lady. Told her I was calling from Corvallis Montana and asked where she was. She said the Philippines. Philippines, are you kidding me!!!! So much for a local company. So I hung up. No thanks.

The call center customer service did not keep their commitments. I had to call five times and each time they asked me the exact same questions and it was difficult to get talk with a manager. I talked with 2 managers. Both promised to personally handle it. One never even called or contacted me. The other at least called but said she had no control over ground deliveries. - There was no way to reach the delivery person and as such I was left guessing when they would show up. I had multiple texts saying that they were going to deliver by the end of the day and then they did not - They said I had to have someone over 18 at home for the delivery, but would not commit to when that delivery would actually happen. Overall - an absolutely horrible customer service experience!

I was offered a discount of 100$. The discount was incorrectly not deducted from the bill, now they want to charge me late fees? They are clearly dishonest and not a reputable company. They will lie to you and try to rip you off.
