Review is based on restaurant: Friend and I stopped by for a meal as we made our way through the park. I got the blue cheese burger and it was okay. The blue cheese was mild and wasnt as strong as I'd like it. The large stick fries that came with the burger was equivalent to 1.5 potatoes. I probably wont't come back here in the future. Staff was nice but not necessarily attentive.

We stayed at the motel for 4 nights during the heat wave earlier this month, July 2024. I was initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning because we prefer our room to be cold, cold, cold, but once we opened the bathroom window and then put the box fan into the main room window and pumped the warm air to the outside, it cooled right down and it wasn't an issue. What a surprise! The room was recently updated but still needs some bathroom accessories (towel racks, hooks) and was otherwise clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker and a mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable, and I consider myself a mattress snob. There was a stand-up shower (no tub) with nice shower stream with hot water.
We also ate at the restaurant, twice for dinner and 4 times for breakfast. All of our meals were excellent with top-notch service. The huckleberry pie was an absolute delight!
I would have given 5 stars, however, there was one glaring issue that I must address. We stayed in one of the rooms halfway up the hill, and there is a retaining wall that runs the length of the driveway to the rooms. Along the top of the retaining wall there were several short iron posts (I counted at least 5 of them) that were hammered into the ground, and each post had a steel-jaw leg trap set to catch ground squirrels. Throughout our stay, as we drove up and down the driveway, several of the traps had caught a squirrel with the poor little things screaming and dangling by their caught limbs, fully alive, suffering, and waiting for death. It was beyond horrific. We came to Montana to enjoy nature, the beautiful scenery, and the wildlife. I cannot imagine how a small child would have reacted upon seeing the squirrels in their anguish, flailing around helplessly, trying to free themselves of the trap. While I fully realize that ground squirrels can be a nuisance and destructive, there are better, more humane, ways of eradicating, or at least managing, their numbers. For every squirrel that we encountered caught in the traps, we were able to set them free.

I stayed here before and had an ok experience, but this time with warmer temps and no AC at this hotel it was unbearable. My trip started with 2 nights here and then ended with 2 nights. During my trip I had an emergency appendectomy in Canad and they would not refund my last two nights even with my medical condition. I had to get a hotel in Kalispell that had AC. The room temp was probably 90+ degree F and there was no way that room was going to cool down enough. Sad they wouldnt provide a refund despite having a med emergency.

Says that it's updated recently but I don't see where. Our family had 4 different rooms and they were sad. Bathroom was dirty with blood spots on the walls. Boogers on walls in bathroom and by bed closest to window. Pillows were flat and blankets were not the best. Only thing going for it was the location and ease to the park. Does have a nice general store/gas station/restaurant right in front. Never ate there but the store was clean and had basic things and cute souvenirs.
Rooms: Not the best. Needs deep cleaning and updated!

Yummy food and good service
Food and drinks: Had to wait about 20min as it was busy. Food was yummy and they accommodated special dietary requests. Pie and beer was great, too. Good service. Prices were a little high but understand considering the location.

Looking for restaurant that was open late. Stopped in at Glacier Highland and was very impressed. I had the meatballs and i am still craving more now that I'm home. All the sides were really good. My husband had a burger and loved it. Food served quick and friendly service. Of course we had some pie to go. Yum!

We stopped here for breakfast before going in to the park for the day. Had a delicious omelette and french toast with huckleberries, of course! They seemed short staffed, but worked hard to serve us and were kind and attentive. We will likely be back for some pie!

Nice motel and cafe just a couple of miles from the Glacier West entrance. Rooms were dated but clean. Cafe had hearty food choices in generous amounts.

Resturant review waitstaff very rude, we asked why people were seated gefire us who came after us, the waitstaff physically pulled the buzzer from my hand and said get out or he'll call the sheriff. Zero to 100 in a blink if an eye. The owner showed up and didn't want to hear anything from us and said leave.

Breakfast was very good, but with other reviews, this place does seem to be money hungry. Ordered the pancake egg and sausage combo. $2 uncharged for patty. But. I do not like eggs so asked if I could sub for hash browns. Waitress did not like this at all and said would ask. I said that was fine, if could not sub, I would change my order. Food was very slow in coming out, when did, she dropped off really quickly and left. No has browns and no eggs with mine. She never returned until way after we were done. I asked for her to change bill to pancake and sausage, which is what I had. She argued and insisted that word be more money which is absolutely NOT true. It was $5 more the way it was. I had already looked it up. I just paid cash with a tip and told her it would just be more tip for her. She was so insistent and making a scene and had no worries about the customer.

This review is based on the restaurant. First off, the servers eyed us but completely ignored us after we got sat down. As a server myself, this was actually ridiculous to witness this sort of treatment- we completely showed respect and had to ask for someone to attend to us. The service further on was good though! Prices of food are just okay, the Glacier Chocolate pie slice didn’t meet the $10 price point, but it is a tourist area! The food is okay! I really enjoyed the fish sandwich that I got. Fries were not the best. If you need somewhere to stop by and you are starving, this place isn’t a bad stop. MUCH better restaurants in Whitefish though! Giving 3 stars is on the generous side but I can’t say it was terrible.

This is a review for the restaurant. This was the first place we stopped for dinner after arriving to Glacier for the first time. The food was delicious! I had the bison meat loaf and mashed potatoes. It was so good. I finished off my meal with a warm slice of huckleberry pie and ice cream ? We tried lots of other places after this but found this one to be our favorite so we ate our last meal here as well. They also have a nice gift shop area.Food & drinks: The food was delicious! Better than everything else we tried in the area. I would love to have another slice of that huckleberry pie!

We were greeted right away and told to sit wherever we liked it was around 11am and it was pretty busy as it is right in front of GNP west entrance however the wait was not long at all plus the server was very friendly. The food was good. My first time eating huckleberries they are a little tart but go well with the syrup. This place is connected to a gift shop/gas station but the food doesn't take like gas station food at all it's clean and quite Lots of pies to choose from.
