BLT was so dry as to cut gums and roof of your mouth, lacks flavor. Should butter bread if u ask for it toasted to fix all of the above. Suggest cook try own food then they would realize "gee, if I'm going to charge this much for food it may want to be with some flavor"! Book store and rest is GREAT!

This charming establishment I came across is a real hidden gem—a bookstore and cafe with a distinct charm. Their store boasts an array of adorable items and a wide selection of Yellowstone-themed products.I didn't have any particular expectations when I entered, primarily drawn by my hunger during my journey to the park. However, I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The cafe's menu offered decent options for vegetarians, and I opted for a spinach, tomato, and cheese sandwich. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and my order arrived promptly. The sandwich turned out to be incredibly delicious, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.I can confidently say that I'll make it a point to stop by this place whenever I'm in the area. I highly recommend it for both the cafe and the store; it's a truly unique and enjoyable experience.

The coffee is pretty good. This review is regarding staff and experience. The only reason we went there was because the first choice we have been going to was closed.I paid $25 for 2 coffees, one I had to pour creamer myself, and 2 bagels where you put the cream cheese on yourself. And then when I pay the cashier had the nerve to say there’s a line for a tip. Sorry, I’m not tipping when I’m not being served at a table and I’m doing half the work myself. Especially when it’s $25 for bagels and coffee where we didn’t even get any meat or real food on them, and it wasn’t even cooked for me.

We come to West Yellowstone every year and am happy I found this place that serves up a good latte- hadn't really found that until now. Will make my yearly stop here.

The Book Peddle & Coffee Cafe is an interesting, quaint little place. We went there for lunch and ordered Loaded Lite Shotgun, Ultimate Veggie Sandwich and Buckaroo their breakfast burrito. We also ordered their Latte & Red Eye.The sandwiches were good - felt like the ones we eat at home. The breakfast burrito was decent too and so was the coffee.

The atmosphere is great and staff at the book counter were very polite and helpful, but the same could not be said of the staff at the coffee bar. We waited at the ordering area for several minutes before any of the 3 staff members decided to help us (for reference, they were chatting not doing something else). We ordered a coffee, iced tea, and chocolate croissant. Attached is a photo of the iced tea, with no ice (the tea was lukewarm in a plastic cup) and a teabag thrown in without leaving the string out for easy removal. The coffee and croissant were very good, but not really worth the poor service and price.

We first stopped here two years ago on our way into Yellowstone and my husband was blown away by the Wild Hog Burrito. He has been talking about it since so we wanted to come back again on our next trip to Yellowstone. Both times we had great food, wild hog burrito is MASSIVE and delicious, and the croissant breakfast sandwich was yummy too. Tried a chocolate croissant that did not disappoint. Average coffee. Cute atmosphere located inside a small gift shop. We will stop by every time just for the burrito!!

If I could separate the bookstore part of this business from the café part, the bookstore would get 5 stars and the café would get around 3. Bookstore: Great little place for books, gifts, souvenirs, etc. Surprisingly good selection for such a small town. If you're visiting the town and want to pick up a Montana-themed cookbook or something, they've got you.Café: This is where I'm a little bit split. The pastries and coffee are superb; in fact, if you're going here for coffee alone it's probably one of the top three spots in town. The sandwiches, though...VERY pricey and nothing special from what I've experienced. Everything has a very distinct "I could've made this better at home" look + taste. The bagels are the worst offenders. I'm pretty sure they're the Sara Lee brand you can get at the grocery store down the street--they have the same spongy texture, plus Sara Lee is the only other everything bagel I know of where they put whole sunflower seeds *inside* the bread. Blegh. I've heard that the breakfast burritos are pretty good, but I haven't tried them yet. My recommendation: Go somewhere else for grains/protein, then stop here for a huge chocolate croissant and a nice coffee or tea.

I fell madly in love with this book store 25yrs ago. It was such a disappointment to see it being the hollow self it once was. Shelves were bare, no longer was the handwritten notes of the employees "favorites", or short blurbs of their context. It went from being unique to being a sad.

They make a decent cappuccino here. Nothing mindblowing... but decent nonetheless.

The coffee is so good here that we went back twice! They have gluten-free baked goods also! Huge bonus! And who doesn't love a bookstore / coffee shop.

This place is as cute as it gets! The menu is great and the shopping is so nice! The staff is friendly and very helpful. I loved watching them bring out the fresh cinnamon rolls The breakfast sandwich's are nicely portioned and the food service is super timely. Definitely a must when stopping into town! I ordered the London fog latte with oat milk, so delicious. Drinks were made super fast. I'll definitely be popping in again!

I wish I could rate well this place but the lack of empathy of the staff is appalling. They have customer only washroom, which is understandable. One of our member had to go to restroom and I was in the queue to order coffee. When we asked for the code they response was “once you pay then only”. And that with flat and rude face. There are plenty good cafes outside and this one is best avoided.Coffee was fine, they have alternate vegan options and rest of the store is fine.*Response to the owner*: The policy for customer only restroom is understandable but not the rudeness of the staff while asking for restroom. At first the person at coffee counter did not even tell that there is a restroom. We had to ask at the books counter and the person there told the policy. And then coffee staff was adamant to pay first even when one of us were in the queue to order the coffee. After assuring that we are buying and will not "run away", the staff relented and told the master code. All this left such a poor taste after seeing such a lack of trust on the customers, not even seeing that its a kid or an elder in the need. Super lack of empathy and basic courtesy.
