This place was recommended to us by our hotel check in staff. We ordered the trout cakes, bacon wrapped bison tenderloin, and a burger. Everything was good except the bread that came with the trout cakes (rock hard), the carrots, and the french fries. The bison was very tender and flavorful. We were disappointed in the menu choices as the photos we saw online of the menu were outdated. Limited seating, so make a reservation!

My wife and myself tried this place out while visiting Yellowstone. The staff was friendly but the food was very subpar.I ordered a steak and wanted it medium. It came out nearly rare with absolutely no seasoning. The green beans tasted like they were frozen and put in a microwave for a couple of minutes. The mashed potatoes and sauce was the only saving factor for my meal. The bread pudding was okay with the ice cream. That and the service is the only reason why I’m giving it two stars. For the amount they charge for meals, I’d expect A LOT better food.

This was the most upscale, craft dining experience we had in West Yellowstone. A first-time elk and bison eater, I loved the items I ordered and also found the wine list to have great selections. There are many unremarkable places in West Yellowstone, eager for unsuspecting tourists to spend their money. That is not at all the vibe at Madison Crossing Lounge. It was truly a great meal with wonderful service.

We had a wonderful meal here after a long day in the park. While we were a bit grubby, we fit right in...even though the food and beverages seemed like they deserved far nicer attire. The wine list was amazing as was the cocktail menu. We Sat at the bar, where the service was amazing. We split the Cesar salad, followed by the trout for me and the ribs for my fiance. Everything was amazing. We weren't sure what to expect in such a small town, but this place exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

Great food and fantastic service. Ordered a full rack of ribs and bison tenderloin. Both were fantastic and we finished them ?. Next door gift shop is awesome too, great to hang out while waiting for your table.

I have this place a 2 star because they have stuff drinks. I got the bison meatloaf. It didn’t have much flavor. I added some salt which helped but still very bland. My wife got the romesco chicken pasta and it was fairly spicy. The kids got buttery noodles and a kids chicken Alfredo.

Awesome food but the Lobster Bisque a little bit salty. Please remember to make appointment ahead. We were there at 7 pm. They said we have to wait 1 hours for seats (group of 6)I order the Bison Meatloaf. It was not really impressive. The meatloaf was too soft inside and over-seasoned.My friend’s Halibut and Iron Steak were really good.Recommend: Appointment, try the steak.

The food was fresh, delicious and reasonable around the west Yellowstone. This was our last night here, we ordered trout cakes which was replaced by wild salmon cakes due to trout shortage. Also ordered PESTO PRIMAVERA and ANGRY BUFFALO which was delicious. At last we ordered the HUCKLEBERRY ice cream, it was our first time and we loved it. Overall it was really affordable compared to the other food places we visited.

I’m so glad we made it to here on our last day in West Yellowstone. The food was very good, we got roasted Chicken pasta and Rainbow trout, both the display and flavors of the food exceeded my expectations! Last but not least, definitely order the huckleberry ice cream if you visit, they are just extraordinarily good!

We wandered in on our first night in town, and then worked our way through the menu on every night of our trip! The food is delicious with local fare like rainbow trout, Bison and elk. The trout croquets and Swedish elk meatballs were both delicious starters, and each of their mains are delicious! Their cocktails were also very tasty. Call ahead for a reservation on a Saturday in winter, or most nights in summer as their dining room is cozy.
