“We decided to stay here based on the reviews and were not disappointed in the least. The rooms were spotless and well maintained. It was a very comfortable and quiet location, but we were literally steps from all kinds of things to do in West Yellowstone. The owners were so friendly and more than willing to help out with local recommendations. We loved it and, if we’re ever here again, this would definitely be our first choice.”

“We spent a single night at the Three Bear lodge before heading into Yellowstone Park. It is just a block off the main street so easy walking distance to get dinner and visit some shops. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The comfy bed was just right after a long day of travel and the staff at both the desk and the restaurant (where breakfast is served) were very friendly and helpful.”

“Madison Motel hooked me up when I wasn't able to camp for the night. Prices were reasonable considering the great location. The staff were personable and knowledgeable about the area with great suggestions for food, bars and info you'd like to know if you're traveling through.

With a 5 minute drive to the Yellowstone entrance, you can't beat the convenience and history of this cozy motel!”

“Stayed 2 nights with pets while exploring Yellowstone. The staff were friendly and gave treats for the pups. We were on the 1st floor and the room was quiet, clean and cozy. All room amenities worked. Hot breakfast & coffee in the morning was perfect.”

“It's a little worn, but was comfortable. The 2 BR unit was good, as it afforded us more room. We were on a 14 day road trip, and it was nice to be in a condo vs a hotel room. Plenty of cooking utensils and standard size fridge. Walking distance to some restaurants. A very good sandwich shop/bakery around the corner. Great for bringing sandwich into the park. The Buffalo restaurant that was 1/2 block away was ok, but nothing special.”

“This is a good piece of history of Yellowstone. There are animal trophies in the lobby. The rooms are kind of old fashioned but super warm in winter. The staffs are nice.”

“The place is small but has everything you need. It has a small kitchen. And washer and dryer. The wonderful host had some fruits and candy at the unit. The unit has a lot of cool decors and cute stuff.”

“The hotel had lots of parking and was in a great location that let us walk to restaurants. Our room was spacious, the bed and bedding were warm and comfortable. The carpets are standard hotel carpets, I wouldn't want to walk around it barefoot.
The main reason we chose this place was for the hot breakfast included in our booking. Service was great, they dish the food out for you and it was hot and fresh.
If you're sensitive to noise while sleeping, you might want earplugs at some guests were chattering quite loudly in the hallway and it could be heard within our room.”

“The hotel has two floors and no elevator.
Today I stayed in a room with two queen beds.
There is a lot of space in the room
There is carpet on the floor for trotting, but the floor may be old. When you run, you can hear the sound of the stainless steel kettle placed on the refrigerator and microwave.

The soundproofing effect of the room is poor. The voices of the passengers in the next room can be heard quite clearly. Fortunately, their work and rest hours are similar to ours, so they are not disturbed.
There are small appliances such as TV, small refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer in the room.
There is also a sofa chair, a wooden table and two chairs. The wooden table and chairs are very practical. You can buy food. It is like enjoying a meal with your family in a restaurant at home. It is very warm.
Although no coffee or tea bags are provided, luckily we don’t have the habit of drinking coffee or tea.

The washbasin is outside the bathroom and there is a separate space for washing.
There is also a supply of toilet paper for hand drying (hand towels are also available)

There is no shower gel in the bathroom. Fortunately, we brought our own soap.
No deposit required this time”

“Rooms: Our room was not luxurious, but for what this hotel is, it was great! It was clean, smelled fine, was quiet and safe, bedding was clean, beds were comfortable, carpet was clean, there was a clean fridge and microwave. Not a thing wrong with this place. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in room 228.

Nearby activities: Shopping, bars, food, museums, Yellowstone, etc.

Safety: We had a full vehicle and although we saw a few characters walking about, we had no issue with safety.

Walkability: You can walk to gas stations, coffee spots, stores, restaurants, etc.

Food and drinks: There are tons of nice spots to eat/drink nearby.

Noteworthy details: Parking is tight and a bit willy nilly.”
