Timberline Cafe is a no-frills cafe with good comfort food and a salad bar. My husband had the chili with a cornbread muffin. I had a bowl of soup and the huckleberry pie. All were very good, especially the pie. It’s a busy cafe, but service was very good.

We were a little worried when we walked in and the restaurant was pretty empty, but were quickly seated. Service was good, food was good with a nice salad bar. Restaurant filled up while we were there, we just got there before the crowd.

Their website says it's open, but it's closed for the season. An update would be helpful.

Really disappointed after checking the restaurant website, trip advisor and yelp to find this place closed. They should update the website at least.

Food was good, server was friendly, although no welcoming smile. Way overpriced for the mediocre meals served. It was our fault for expecting great food at a great price in the West Yellowstone National park tourist area right outside the park .

I do not recommend this place the food was not good at all, they got our order wrong and the food tasted old and no favor at all.

Oh my goodness what a great little restaurant!!!The fresh trout and the ribeye were done to perfection, vegetables and baked potato as well. Then we had their apple blueberry pie made here on premises. Oh my goodness what a sweet way to end a delicious meal. The service was friendly and on point if you get a chance, come by and enjoy a meal we know you will. ITamzan and Ron hey

The service was very good the food not so good. We ordered burgers & fries. The fries were very brown, over cooked and it was pieces of fries like we got the bottom of the bag. The hamburgers were paper thin. We ordered a slice of huckleberry pie to go. The slice of pie did not have a bottom crust and only had a half of the top crust . Which we didn’t notice until we left because we got it to go. The bad slice of pie cost $9.00!!!! Yes that was for one slice. Bathroom needed attention also.

Service was slow and very unfriendly. Frankly horrible. Dumped off our food and never asked if we needed anything like ketchup or something to make the plain dry burger eatable. French dip had one piece of dry roast beef on it served with some watery auju . Asked for check waited but never got it so we had to get up and get it. Fries were cold. Salad bar was fresh except the salads were just prepackaged yucky

Never heard of a place that sells beer but you can only buy one if you buy food. No wonder nobody is in there. Also when I asked if there was anywhere around that I could the lady there said yea anywhere else. Send customers away is good for business

Consistently, good food and service. We visited Yellowstone National Park, and this was our go to restaurant for breakfast and dinner reasonably priced and food was delicious.

While Visiting West Yellowstone we ate at this cafe twice. My wife and I enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. The food was great. The prices were great. The staff was Great. I'd recommend this place and if I lived close by I'd visit often. The menu is not overly full and they are masters of what they make. Definitely a must if you're in the area and they are open. I think they may be seasonal so call ahead.
