We reserved a night at Firebrand and paid a very high price for a King bed room. Upon arrival (an hour after check in time) they put us in a double queen room instead with no explanation to why and we only found out after entering the room. We questioned them on it and they told us “maintenance issue”. Next, operating the shower was so confusing and challenging. They had small instructions but I’m quite surprised a shower could be so confusing. There also was no fan in the bathroom and no trash can. Small but annoying things especially when you pay over $800 for 1 night! The bed was extremely uncomfortable and because my husband is heavier I kept rolling down to his side. We both had the worst night of sleep ever. To top everything off the night we arrived we had appetizers and drinks at the restaurant. There were only two other tables occupied and almost every single staff member but 1 was almost constantly on their phones and not attentive at all. If I ran the hotel I would fire everyone there as it felt like we were almost an inconvenience. I never write reviews but after spending so much money and feeling so disappointed on our anniversary outing I could help warning others before spending their time here. I wish I had spent less at a different hotel as I easily could have and not have dealt with this.

The young lady Jade at the front desk went above and beyond for us during our stay.

I casually asked for a chocolate chip cookie at the bar, and the manager walked three blocks to get me one. I honestly have never been somewhere that cared so much about making customers happy. This place was amazing from start to finish and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Hotel was dirty from the minute we walked in the door. The service was pathetic and the attitude of the check in person to the barista was a joke. The bartender was by far the best with service and attitude. We never did get our room cleaned even after asking for it to be done. The culture has never been worse and we have stayed here every year for at least 10 years. They obviously need a new GM to turn this place around.

Nice hotel, but not extraordinary. Expected more, given the price. Room was nice, but not much different than a Hampton Inn, just much more expensive. Hotel staff was very friendly. Location has its pluses and minuses. The plus is being close to shopping and lots of restaurants. The minus is excessive road noise. Our room was close to Hwy 93, apparently the only way to get through town. Road noise was constant all night long, especially from trucks. Hwy 93 takes a sharp left turn next to the hotel, and trucks feel obligated to hit the engine brake to make the turn. Had to resort to using earplugs, a huge disappointment for a hotel at this price point. BTW, why no bypass around Whitefish?.

Reserved our room a year in advance. Received our confirmation email on June 20th. Paid quite a bit extra to reserve a room with a balcony. When we arrived they had downgraded our room with no explanation. We spoke with the front desk and they told us they did not know what happened, but the manager would either call us or would definitely meet with us over the next 2 days to discuss. The manager never called us or met with us in person. The hotel is nice, but they do not seem to care about their customers. Very disappointing experience.

I have been coming to Whitefish and Bigfork for 10 years. Usually i stay at the firebrand if its a winter trip. One of the nicer hotels in WF but what really is great is the proximity to everything. You can walk everywhere to eat or to almost every bar. They do have a heated pool on the rooftop which is nice. Gym is not good at all so good luck. Food is not bad.

Excellent location in downtown Whitefish. We could walk to many restaurants and shops from the hotel. The rooftop area was nice and great for seeing the 4th of July fireworks. The rooms were clean and good size. However, the noise level was very very high even late at night.

Adam and his team are one of the most exemplary team with their conduct and creativity between finest foods (I always got the Caesar w/ salmon! 🍣
Firebrands chef and gourmet foods are the finest and freshest food found in Whitefish. Plus? Adam the manager is also one of the few wine sommelier in Whitefish being only 1 of 3!!!
Go and try out the music on Saturday’s or try another fave of mine and that is the tenderloin (try this with a spicy hot date and also know? It’s one of the few places in town you can bring your furry friend (if they are well behaved and trained)is something to be excited
about in this small hidden cove!!
We love our dogs and yet whitefish is not a dog friendly area unless you are outside. (This coming from a gal whom has a service dog to detect seizures for my brain tumor.) so places like firebrand and incredible football’r (soccer Americans) servers like Shaq?
If you like dark rum…? Ask for Shaq. He knows where the good sipping rum is😎
