A little lacking for a few items I needed. Missing some traditional old school remedies. Snacks and soda pricey even with sale promos. You will pay Whitefish Sales tax here, so shop at Kalispell Walgreens if that matters to you. Kind staff.

The pharmacy is very unprofessional. They filled a prescription of insulin twice. And failed to fill another prescription for a different medication. They are very confused. One pharmacy tech was rude and down right mean. avoid this pharmacy at all measures. I’ll stick to my local small town pharmacist with friendly and professional service.

First of all, Walgreens in general is pretty bad everywhere but Whitefish Walgreens takes the cake. Last time I was there I asked someone named "Dee" how much the COVID tests costs. Apparently she was busy and was extremely upset I asked her a question when she was busy. She ended up screaming at me telling me I didn't look like I was from here (I had been painting and was covered in paint). After I paid for my item, she ordered me out of the store. "Just get out!" When I started to walk out with my paid item she started screaming that I was stealing because I didn't select yes/No on the credit card screen if I wanted to donate money to a charity. She was absolutely psychotic and ridiculous. A few weeks later, I was at work (I work at a healthcare office) and spoke to a pharmacist there. He advised me that Nurse practitioners cannot prescribe Albuterol in Montana. Which is not true. When I started to explain to him that the law does allow this and it was a naturopath that prescribed it, not a nurse practitioner. He said "I don't have to listen to you, I'm cancelling this prescription" and hung up on me. I can't believe how absolutely unprofessional and horrible the staff at this Walgreens are. I would avoid at all costs.

I have never. ever. been able to pick up my prescriptions without some sort of issue. Sometimes it’s delayed and I’ll go days without it. Sometimes they only fill it halfway. If you need a prescription make sure you account for the week of downtime it takes for them to get anything done.

I wish I could say that my poor experiences with Walgreen's were limited to a certain location, but my partner and I do a lot of traveling, and upon multiple occasions, I have been painfully reminded of why I choose CVS or smaller, more local pharmacies in the area. Not one time have I ever, ever had a good experience. This location was no exception.Based on Walgreen's ad, I was informed that one could receive up to 8 COVID tests a month for free. Free wasn't what I was looking for, but if you tell me it's free, I'll take it.I placed my order for 4. A couple of hours later, I was informed it was ready for pickup. Not once did I receive any other communication that there was an issue.I went inside as the drive-thru line was insanely busy. Inside was no better. There were many people stranded in the waiting area, two of which had vaccine appointments and, based on what I observed, clearly weren't being seen on time. One customer was having difficulty with her Rx, and instead of someone else being proactive and opening another line, the one (very nice) and only employee who was trying to assist was forced to hold the line up further. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the lady in front of me gave up. I should have. After I finally made it up to the window, I was told that my insurance did not cover the tests, and was I okay with that? (Free vs. $50.00) I informed her I was not, and said I would just take two of the kits instead. Our insurance has never refused anything, so that in and of itself was a surprise. (See next paragraph.) Moreover, someone should have CALLED ME to let me know and I would have happily run in and picked up a couple of test kits myself without holding up others in the line who actually needed to speak to a pharmacy associate. The few short minutes they spent calling would have saved multiple people, including employees, a lot of needless wait and stress.I ended up not getting anything. I had forgotten my credit card at home, but was told Apple Pay would work. It did not. The young lady kept trying to get me to use my phone in a way that I never have. (I use Apple Pay all the time without ANY issue). I finally just told her I was not going to cause the people behind me to wait any longer than they had, and left.I went to Safeway and spent the same amount of money for the same product with much less hassle. Apple Pay was a cinch. This isn't the first time I've had issues with Walgreen's. I had a Rx that I usually get filled for 90-days at a time. Never had problems before. Since there was not a CVS in the area where we were (Hurricane, UT) I had the Rx transferred to Walgreen's, only to find out at PICKUP that, because of the contract WG's has with our insurance, they could NOT fill anything beyond 30-days. What the heck?It tells me that issues with Walgreen's run far deeper than test kits or Apple Pay. No one wants to work with them.Again, someone should have called me before I got there. Instead, they filled the Rx for 30-days without asking me if that was acceptable, which totally screwed the Rx up in its entirety. I had to take it to a local pharmacy in Hurricane. It took them hours to straighten out the mess that Walgreen's had created. I mean, literally, hours.I left Walgreen's years ago for multiple, similar reasons. I am amazed that, with all the competition from grocery stores and other smaller pharmacies, that anyone patronizes them. No way would I EVER schedule a vaccine or testing appointment with them. If you need it for travel or other time sensitive matters, they absolutely can NOT be depended on. It would serve anyone well to do a lot of research before using this location, or any other, for pressing pharmaceutical needs.

Walgreens was my go to pharmacy. Over the last 3 years they have put customer service on the back burner. I have waited in lines forever just to find out when I got to the front that my scripts were not ready and would not be ready for an hour. (After it was called in 4 hours earlier) Then I called on the phone to see if they were ready and was told it would be another hour. I told her that I was unhappy with their service and she said "That's Fine" I will bring my business elsewhere after nearly 20 years with Walgreens. I do not recommend them for your pharmacy needs! I'm not from Narrowsburg, Ny. I'm from here in Kalispell, Mt.

I live in 2 different states and have since 2017. I use Walgreens as I can easily refill my prescriptions at either Walgreens near my houses. Walgreens always transfers the prescriptions between stores themselves.Today, I had a lady at Walgreens Whitefish, tell me they never do that. When I explained that both Walgreens always do that, she told me they shouldn't.When I explained she was the ONLY person that wouldn't do it, she then said she didn't know how but sure didn't take the initiative to go ask someone how to do it.Customer service must be a thing of the past at Walgreens Whitefish.

Usually I have a very nice and professional experience here especially when Emily is at the pharmacy but lately the taller bald man who wears the face mask that covers his neck has been very rude to me he has given me the wrong needles on multiple occasions and then insists it is my fault even though I have never had this type of miscommunication with any other employees and he is very condescending when I try to correct him and get the right needles it has even prevented me from being able to take my medication on occasion

Pharmacy is garbage. I'll get calls and texts that prescriptions are ready, drive there and be told it's not ready. It's always unorganized, I've made 3 appointments for flu shots and something is always wrong. Don't use them unless you have to.

I used to use this place all the time because it was so convenient to scan your bottle and then go pick it up. But they have put in this RIDICULOUS call system and you can never get a human. Their app tells you to call them, for what they don't say, and then you can't get through all the damn questions and talk to anyone. Three attempts to get as far as a queue. Then, after being told there is one, ONE!, person ahead of me, I'm still on hold for TWENTY MINUTES! Forget it. I'm cancelling all the stuff we have with them as this isn't the first time this has happened. I don't like Safeway, but at least I can talk to a human.

I’m not prone to leaving bad reviews. But this is now the 3rd time I’ve had issues with the photo department. There is a disconnect between when the Walgreens website says your pictures will be ready and the staff running the photo lab says your pictures will be ready. That’s a problem. The main issue however is with the staffs defeated and frazzled attitude. She made me feel like I was the problem for her day. I got the feeling that work was not her thing but complaining was.Time for a culture change at this store.
