Dollar general, more like $20 dollar general. This place is supposed to be cheap, but prices there are ridiculous. I was trying to buy a pair of shoes, but they were listed for TWENTY DOLLARS. For shoes in this day and age, $20 is INSANELY OVERPRICED. They also fell apart after a couple months. TOTAL SCAM DON’T EVER BUY SOMETHING HERE.
I forgot to mention that a pack of crayons is also $1.50 now. Back in my day that could get me 2 months of rent. DON’T COME HERE THEY LIE ABOUT DOLLAR ITEMS

It is pretty nice for a dollar store, has a variety (for a small town) and generally is very clean, but they have a fair bit of issues. For one, it is rare to see two registers open and they seem to struggle keeping inventory. Additionally, some of the items almost seem overpriced. Almost like in some departments they're overcharging due to the fact that there's no competition in a small town to their customer base. If you have the time I would run down to Bassett's Dollar General or Valentine's Dollar Tree/Family Dollar stores as they seem to do a better job keeping their shelves stocked, registers open, and lines moving. Also, Dollar Tree/Family Dollar doesn't charge egregious prices for things in the crafts section.

I purchased 3 bottles of coke and used the digital coupon but before the transaction was completed, I asked if I could add 3 more bottles and get the coupon on them also. I was told I could. I then asked if I needed to do two different transactions. I then was told it was not necessary. After completing the transaction I went home and checked the receipt. It was not taken off the second 3 bottles. I returned to the Ainsworth store and showed them the receipt and was told nothing could be done. What great customer relations they were taught !!!

This is the absolute most disgusting Dollar General you will ever go in. they can’t keep employees therefore with no one in line you will wait 20 minutes for someone to check you out, the shelves are never stocked, it always smells, and is always filthy dirty, the AC never works this is obviously a company that does not care about its employees, or its neighborhood, this is an absolutely beautiful town where everyone still waves at each other, in my opinion, and so many others it’s a definite disgrace to have in this town.
