We loved our stay and appreciated the hospitality offered by Mary Beth and Frank. We stayed in the Flamingo room and it was so cute - we enjoyed delicious breakfasts before adventures each day exploring Ashland and walking to Glacial Till tasting room. It was fun to soak in the hot tub at night, too. As hosts, they were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Thanks for an awesome mini getaway!

My brothers and sister and spouses held a pre-Christmas family gathering at The Roost and were delighted with the facilities and especially with the hosts. The hosts are two of the finest people we have ever encountered in our stays at BnB's around the country. Our arrival, our breakfasts, our local area orientation were all top notch as our hosts were always handy and eager to help but never intrusive. I would only be critical of the size of the bathroom attached to our bedroom. It was functional but small and I suspect there is little to be done about it given the constraints of the historical home that is The Roost. The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfy. Overall a great place to stay and we'd stay agin in a heartbeat. Kudos to Frank and Mary Beth for running a welcoming, cozy and relaxed place! A wonderful experience.Walkability: Within easy walking distance to Downtown Ashland where you'll find a variety of interesting shops. Next door to the Ashland museum as well.Food & drinks: Our Breakfasts were superb and Mary Beth makes the most amazing bread pudding you will ever taste! Don't miss it!

We loved staying at The Roost with Frank and Mary Beth. They were both so charming and accommodating, and we loved the room we stayed in. It had its own bathroom, reading nook, and tv with Roku. Although we were close to two other rooms and couples we never heard anyone upstairs the entire time we were there. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, there were so many options we didn't have room to try them all.The best part was the conversations with the other guests and Frank and Mary Beth themselves. They truly love what they're doing and love to meet new people. We loved learning about them, the house, and just Ashland in general. They always had exciting news to share about upcoming events and although we didn't get to experience the art crawl while we were there, we plan to come back for other creative opportunities.Don't hesitate to book a room, definitely worth your time!Walkability: The Roost is within walking distance of downtown Ashland.

What a wonderful place this is to stay!! My wife and I came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and absolutely loved it. The rooms are clean, comfy, and super cute. The breakfast here is also to die for. We felt safe and well taken care of. If you visit, you must also try out the jacuzzi tub. Thank you again for making our anniversary so memorable! <3
