I had a package held at this post office while I was out of town. The lady that called me to confirm I wanted it held and for what address was extremely helpful as well as the man who was working the front office when I went in on a Saturday morning to pick up the package. One of the most helpful and efficient interactions I have had at any post office.

A big business with small town quality. Lived in this town over 20 yrs, in the country for most of that. There have been a few bad eggs occasionally, like every business does, but the good by far outweigh the bad! Bryan one time even called the city office for me to help figure out a situation with the physical address.

Terrible customer service. If you don't like where you work, do something about it other than mistreating your customers. They lost a money order that was to pay rent and said they would "work with me." Upon asking what that meant for the money, I was met with a very condescending reaction. Then they call and say they can't do a refund or new order for 60 days. But they had already admitted it was an error on their end. Luckily I have enough to still cover it and the kids can still have the Christmas I anticipated but what if it was someone who could be evicted because of this carelessness and right at the holidays. I'll drive to Greenwood or Gretna if I ever need to do business with a post office again.

They have aways delivered my packages even make the effort to bring them to the house. We live in the country and our lane is a quarter mile from the road.

Ordered online. Two days later the post office said they had a "heavy" package for me and they are keeping it at the post office rather than leaving it at the house. (Too big to deliver?) They close at 4:30 pm, a couple of hours before I get off work. They don't list the address for which post office it would be. (There are three relatively near me.) When I order online, I like to have it delivered, which is sort of the point. If I wanted to pick it up, I wouldn't get it delivered; I would buy in the store. If the post office thought the package was too heavy to ship, they should not have accepted it. Time to privatize.
