We purchased red hot cinnamon and cheddar popcorn at the Rustic Barn craft fair. The popcorn itself was light and okay, but the flavor was lacking. We actually discarded it after giving it a fair try.

Purchased 4 bags from the Czech festival and they are so bland , no flavor. Cinnamon, white cheddar, caramel, jalapeno cheddar very dissatisfied

Oh, boy! We really wanted to enjoy this place - especially after driving 90 minutes to get there. We are participating in the 2024 Passport program and this was one of the stops. We believe in fully experiencing each stop and always want to purchase the products of any establishment we stop at. We purchased 4 bags of popcorn plus a bag of pork rinds. We were very excited that night to sample them all while we watched our movie. It's disappointing to report that this was not good popcorn. All four flavors were dull - you couldn't even tell the flavor by tasting and the taste certainly didn't match the name of the popcorn in the package. For example, the white cheddar tasted exactly the same as cheddar with jalapeño. Unfortunately, the popcorn was also stale. We threw away $24 worth of popcorn. Very disappointed. The positive I can say is that the clerk (maybe the owner), was very pleasant and we enjoyed talking to her. I don't like being critical at all but I do believe in being honest and as much as we hoped to enjoy our popcorn, it was impossible to do so.

Best pork rinds around!! We have tried numerous flavors and love them all. The pork rinds are super light and airy, without the super hard ones you find in grocery store bought bags. So flavorful!!!

Taco and sugar cinnamon pork rinds are my favorite’s but lots of flavors I haven’t tried yet.Popcorn Caramel, caramel apple , Hot cinnamon and rainbow fruit are my favorites so far a lot to taste yet

A no-frills shop that offers popcorn and pork rinds (aka chicharrones). They had a plethora of flavors for both products, to meet the needs of sweet-toothed and savor-the-flavor types of folks, as well as flavors that satisfy both types of cravings--like Maple Bacon! Bags were reasonably priced at $5 each, which is a great deal for gourmet/specialty food items. Even better, they have a discounted bags section, which is akin to the concept of "day old donuts". $3 a bag or 4/$10 when buying off these shelves. The store owner was very polite and he let me sample several different flavors of pork rinds and popcorn. I ended up getting maple bacon popcorn and pizza, Triple J's, and garlic pepper rinds. Fun Fact: Apparently Triple J's is a local meat rub seasoning made in Humphrey, NE--I just love it when local continues to support local! You will not be disappointed by the wealth of options and flavor explosion in your mouth. Swing by and check it out for yourself! (TLDR: Everyone is getting popcorn and pork rinds for Christmas this year, sorry not sorry!!!)

Kids were excited for the fruity rainbow flavor. It was on sale, but I didn’t think about why. They actually passed back a candy coated food and asked for water. The date sticker was for Sep 28—2 months ago. So, that makes sense. It was terrible. Can’t get the taste out of our mouths. I’m sure recently popped varieties are probably good, but wowza.

I hate being negative and normally try to look at the good side of things. BUT I bought popcorn and pork rinds from Happy Kernel at a craft show on 9/9/23. Everything looked so good ... tons of orange coating making it look like it was packed with flavor. We are highly disappointed. Not only are all of the flavors flavorless but the popcorn I just opened is very tough and stale. I bought $25 worth of various products which have been turned in to treats for our dog. I hope she at least gets some enjoyment out of them.This was a complete waste of money.

First time trying this popcorn. I bought the sweet and spicy and also the old fashioned. Both were amazing. The popcorn is so light and tender and the flavors were amazing! I will be back!

Oh man. This place. These rinds and puppychow popcorn are out of this world.
Go try if you even slightly like pork rinds. You will fall in love. And he ships them to most places. Go check him out. I know I will be ordering again soon. Thanks Dean!

My great-grandma and I Vista Dean's Kettle Corn Shop and was pleasantly surprised with a huge assortment of popcorn and pork rinds. Dean was super nice and talked with us about how he started the shop and everything. I would highly recommend his caramel popcorn.
