“I brought my service dog Barney in to see the Chiweenies that were rescued and available. We chose little Thelma Lou. She's calm and curious. She loves to be held and is a snugglebug.
She loves sunning on my bed with Barney, a little peanut butter with her food, snuggles with me on the couch watching TV. She's precious.
Both Alyssa and Sophie helped in the adoption process with clear communication and making sure I understood everything. Barney came through BHS to a rescue group when I adopted him last year and I knew the folks here put the animals in their care as top priority so that's why I looked there first even though I live farther away. I have confidence in their care and support for the animals they're helping. All the shelters are doing such important work.
Thelma Lou has had a difficult life. It's my job to help her forget that.
It's been 7 days and I couldn't be more proud of little Thelma Lou.
I'm thankful for every one of the folks that had a heart and hand in her long journey to my home. ?”
“Main reason for going to TSC today was to get a propane bottle filled. Got my tank out of my truck, barely got through the door and the checker said someone is on their way out to fill my tank. Now that's service!”
“I got Hazel groomed by Janine. Absolutely great job as Hazel has big and thick fluffy hair. Then I left my wallet there by mistake. She came down on a Saturday to open the shop and get it for me. I tried desperately to give her a $10.00 tip for doing this. Absolutely no way she would take it. Yes, the world still has some great people. Thanks Penny and Becky's pet grooming and Janine and the cute scarf around Hazels neck.”
